  1. I checked and it seems to be a problem with Supermium 132 R1. Even my custom 2830.0 doesn't work, which works on all other Chromium browsers under Win7, including Supermium 126 R7. BTW I also discovered that the pwrp_k32.dll included with Supermium 126 R7 allows 2830.0 to run in any reasonably modern (not tested below v109) Chromium browser in Windows 7. Just open widevinecdm.dll in CFF Explorer and rename the import from kernel32.dll to pwrp_k32.dll

  2. You really do have to COMB THROUGH the CSS differences instead of always always always trying to blame the monitor. Gets Old and shows ignorance!!! These are screencaps which capture pixel colors *BEFORE* the monitor "renders" them! These are not pictures taken with a camera which would show pixel colors *AFTER* the monitor "renders" them. Take two monitors side-by-side, set one brightness at 100%, set the other at 5%. Screencap same image on both. The screencap/print-screen reveals pixel colors that are IDENTICAL. A *camera* would reveal the brightness setting differences, a *camera* would reveal "bad caps" on one monitor relative to the other, et cetera. THERE ARE CSS DIFFERENCES BETWEEN SUPERMIUM AND OFFICIAL CHROME. DIG THROUGH THEM IF YOU REALLY WANT TO FIX *YOUR* BRIGHTNESS ISSUES. I SHOULD NOT HAVE TO FIND THEM FOR YOU!

  3. No more for me. Everything shows *IDENTICAL* for me (anti-aliased font difference YES, *expected*, color brightness difference NO)! I'll let you "dark mode" folks fight over this one. And fight... And fight... And fight... My VMs are closed for the day. Supermium targets pre-10 so that font may likely not even be Segoe UI whereas Official Chrome would be. As this really does come up *ALL THE TIME*. Kind of gets old, in my not-so-humble-opinion. I've shown side-by-side out-of-the-box, nothing more I can do, some will always see what they want to see, hear what the want to hear. It's a FONT RENDERING ISSUE, not a brightness issue. THERE IS A DIFFERENCE. It's called "sub-pixel" rendering. Moving on now... "Toodles"...

  5. Funny thing they say, X is allegedly partially blocked in France, I never noticed that! But I'm from a very special, elite region, probably an exemption? Could they keeping X available here because of the rich elitists go on vacations to my town? Could someone from France confirm?

  6. It was an example. It could be a dirty factory in Detroit, where only the poor work. I don't solve it, too! Good if they don;t know it's you, public places are good, if no one is watching.

  7. No, it just means your location is "dirty" in their database. Like I said, it can be the public church IP where you go during the boring Midwest evenings. It could your home shared IP with your neighbour, and that neighbour is a child abuser. I saw in some TV shows they are marked (red-flagged) in USA. For a couple of bucks per month, your provider can sell you a "clean" IP. But as we read before, the economy in USA isn't doing great, would be hard to earn those. I'm pretty sure only Musk can afford it now.

  8. Yes, right, I'm aware of that. Bad location, maybe? As @NotHereToPlayGames actually wrote the same happens on un-modded browsers from that location. Public church IP?

  13. Why you use flash drive to install windows? HP 600 should have a blu-ray optical drive. Why not install using DVD disc and optical drive? Did your XP ISO have AHCI drivers built-in with NLite? Or change AHCI mode to IDE in BIOS. Maybe just change HDD and try again? That's all ideas so far.

  15. Using a more recent profile, the download window in New Moon 28 (2023-11-10) looks like in the following screenshot: I did not choose to open anything, of course. Unfortunately, there is no option in this window or entry in the Applications window to set the default action when downloading an executable file.

  16. In the most recent version of New Moon 28, 2023-11-10, both, the application and the download window, is working and showing entries. Here are two screenshots taken from New Moon 28 (2023-11-10): Therefore, regarding New Moon 28, I can't confirm the issue in my very old profile as described by @VistaLover. I will also have a look when creating a new profile. Cheers, AstroSkipper

  18. You know I don't use Vista and never did before. Therefore, I don't know any details about compatibility with other OSes than Windows XP. And there was no real need for me to try it under Windows 7 or up. Anyway! Thanks for clarification! And happy Thursday evening to you, too!

  19. That's correct. I noticed that, too when using the most recent version of ProxHTTPSProxy. That's why I already updated my post. Best regards, AstroSkipper

  20. Not really. Actually, you do not need to add browserleaks.com anywhere. So, why did you do that? Anyway! Please, remove these entries! If ProxHTTPSProxyMII 1.3a has been configured correctly, entered as a proxy in IE and started, it should work immediately when calling up browserleaks.com in IE. In any case, the website must not show n/a (no js). Your current settings block JavaScript on this website. No good. All SSL connections should be processed by ProxHTTPSProxyMII. You should only modify the config.ini file if you really know what you are doing and for what reason. Otherwise, the proxy won't work as expected due to misconfigurations.

  21. So in order to succesfully bypass iTunes os checks you need to do this: BEFORE YOU BEGIN! I only tried this on Windows 8.1 Fully updated up until september 2021 patches. I have no idea if this is going to work on Windows 7 too. Windows 7 works up until 12.11.3. Later versions require ntdll.dll and dxgi.dll from newer operating systems. Windows 8.0 works up until 12.11.3.17. Later versions do require you to use reshade's dxgi implementation. Download Reshade and rename Reshade64.dll to dxgi.dll. CREDITS TO : K4sum1 from https://eclipse.cx/ Windows 8.1 works without any problem. 1) Download iTunes from apple. 2) Extract the installer 3) Edit the main installer with orca (drop table LaunchCondition) 4) Install iTunes and all of its components 5) Do not launch! - Download this: https://github.com/hejmus/win10verhack/releases/tag/v0.1 6) Put these files in iTunes install folder 7) Open notepad and put this in: withdll.exe /d:win10verhack64.dll iTunes.exe 8) Save it as Launch.bat on your desktop (since iTunes is located in Program files and you would need Admin access) 9) Put launch.bat to the iTunes install folder and open it 10) Done! (Optional, put launch.bat as shortcut on your desktop)
