  1. Is it Ublock Origin Lite (MV3), or the classic one?

  2. Yes I used this options quite often and I don't know if I was the only one or not although I think it would be nice to have the option to enable this bar normally again like it was before without having to revert to the old version of SAB. After all it's better to have the options than not to have it? It wasn't hurting anyone. I would be very grateful if you could do something about it. 🙏 Edit: I think that in addition to the missing options to enable the search bar I have found another slightly different problem related to the large search icons and the drop-down search menu options in "Start Menu" tab on SAB 3.8.13. It's about some kind of conflict with toolbars. When these options or one of them is enabled and after that you will search for something via start menu search bar and at the end you will be try to add some toolbar to the taskbar you will only see explorer window with icons without folder/files names. This makes very difficult to add a new toolbar. Steps to reproduce this issue: -Go to the StartAllBack settings -In the "Start Menu" tab enable "Use big search icons" and/or "Use drop-down search menu" -Close settings and search for something using start menu search bar -Close start menu, unlock the taskbar and try to add some toolbar using toolbar menu -Problem should be visible stright away. For me it looks like this:

  3. Personally, I don't expect to be able to surf every website properly with UXP browsers. The bloated, modern and totally over-greedy websites simply have to be accessed with other browsers or devices. Since there's a lot of Googlised junk on them, such sites are thrown at my Android (Google) tablet. That works great. Spoken for me only, I don't like the modern web layout. In my opinion, the entire development of websites is going in the completely wrong direction. I would rather focus on fast page loading and compatibility than overloading pages with all kinds of bells and whistles.

  5. OT: Unfortunately, I am actually a black tea drinker as you already know, more precisely East Frisian Tea. Have you had positive experiences that sipping green tea helps to get rid of the cough or to get better faster?

  6. I can drag the mouse, but it is not enjoyable. One core of Conroe is pegged at full. Of course a faster CPU solves many problems as with other growing applications. The screen is also upsampled from 800*600 and jaggy with no obvious way of setting the picture to 100%. I'm not complaining that a DosBox is be slow. But just like with playing videos, there is additional overhead from the browser. I don't see what is gained in this case by putting it inside the web browser. Every time I go to the website, it downloads the 45 MB package. They could give it to me directly, set it up with a batch command to run DosBox with the intended settings and it would be faster, save network traffic and independent of the server being up. It has many preinstalled applications and games, fit within that size. Nice perspective of software bloat that has occurred since. DRM in Palemoon is about as useful as a fifth wheel. I would put up with sluggish websites if they are free. But paying to watch protected films inside the browser makes no sense.

  9. If running the DOS game inside Windows, try [386Enh] LocalLoadHigh=1 in System.ini instead of the DOS LOADHIGH and UMB methods.

  14. The early internet that we knew was a big library where everyone shared info and content. The modern internet is a shopping centre, and browsers money makers machines. Just fire the start page and it is already making money from you....do a search, visit a page, everything.... and remember.,,.... if you computer goes slow or run out of memory... its cause you need to buy new hardware for internet browsing... Adblocking is just the top of the big iceberg...

  15. Jody, thank you my friend, you're very helpful as usual. I'll upvote you when the limit is recharged once again. You're full of good ideas, indeed!

  16. Well, I'm sorry. You're right, this feels bad. I've tried to outline a method to my madness; but feedback process still needs improvements. In your case, I've answered about your feedback on different forum and was wrong to hide it here.

  17. After more in-depth investigations, tests and analyses , I have come to the conclusion that the issue, described in my previous posts, is primarily a timing problem in multiprocess mode and can be easily fixed by inserting a delay in the right position.

  19. Why is it important to write about it here? Was there any archived or somehow important info stored?

  20. @feodor2 To be even more precise, the actual culprit is the command goDoCommand("cmd_copy") if used in multiprocess mode only for fetching selected content on a page without actively copying it via Ctrl+C or using an associated copy feature in the form of a menu item or button. Normal copying content with this command works correctly. BTW, I am only talking here about the native command goDoCommand("cmd_copy") without the help of specialised extensions or scripts. For the purpose of copying selected content automatically to the clipboard, there are a lot of extensions or user scripts. Needless to say, I don't know if it is possible to fix it natively in Mypal 68. However, I personally found different solutions to circumvent this issue or bug in my coding project without the help of specialised extensions or user scripts. Whether the ideas of my solutions can be used for a native fix in Mypal 68 or not, I can't assess. Nevertheless, if you are interested in, please let me know!

  21. That's correct, and I was aware of this. But as most of @roytam1's browser editions are based on Firefox 52, I deliberately excluded Serpent 55. No, I didn't miss it. But I couldn't see any reference to the legacy UXP browsers. And this thread is not about Chrome or Chromium browser. Hence my comment.

  22. You probably don't notice because the caps in your approx. 20 y.o. display just dried out. Dell 2407 is 2005- 2006. We are getting closer to the end of 2024. Your display matches the age of a young, pretty 18 y.o. female.

  25. It's a trend, it's like when they light up trees with bright LEDs. Everything gets brighter, light is everywhere. Just google how our planet is now all that bright and looks like from the above. Light pollution, ever heard of the term? I'm quite tolerant to such changes, yet I notice.

  26. Hi @mina7601! Hope you'll get well soon! Although my Covid infection has been weeks ago, I'm limp, coughing all the time, just tired and feel no energy in me. But, as always, hope dies last! And @XPerceniol, think of John Carpenter, and you'll realize "The Fog" also disappears again!
