  1. Yep! And they still work with my mod uBlock Origin Legacy. Why do you post an ad blocker for Chrome in a thread about legacy extensions for UXP browsers? Same applies to this extension. Not compatible with UXP browsers. Such recommendations should be done in corresponding threads. Otherwise it would be misleading. TBH, I have never seen such a message. I tried to reproduce your issue but I failed,. It doesn't seem directly related to the video in your screenshot. Here is my screenshot with your video in New Moon 28: No problem to play this video apart from the unfortunate fact that the music is terrible, which is of course always a question of taste.

  4. @Tomcat76 A JavaScript solution for your problem with hiding the tab bar, if only one tab is open, can be found here: https://msfn.org/board/topic/183657-mypal-68-in-windows-xp-custom-buttons-and-extensions/?do=findComment&comment=1271917

  5. HideTabbarWithOneTab In my download archive, I found an old but still working UC.JS script called HideTabbarWithOneTab.uc.js. This script hides the tab bar including the Open a new tab button, if only one tab is open, and shows it again, if a further tab is loaded. According to its author the script is based on the extension of the same name. Since Firefox 23, the tab bar can no longer be hidden if only one tab is open. This script solves this problem. In contrast to many pure CSS implementations as recently discussed in another thread starting from this post, it works perfectly in Mypal 68. The HideTabbarWithOneTab.uc.js file has to be copied in the Mypal's profile subfolder chrome. It has been tested by me and is fully working. Here is a short animated GIF file to show the script in action: Requirements: The package MYPAL_68_CB_requirements.7z from the first post of this thread. 6. Oh, and before you ban me, think how the alleged billionaire Durov with those 15officially declared billions can't even allow himself an own jet, and rents it? Come on, really? Now seek for Saudi Arabia Durov's connections and who funded all his projects, those all will link to Russia. He doesn't control "his" money, Durov is a simple boot (for those who aren't familiar with slang, it means soldier).

  7. "Ousted" is the wrong word here. When someone works for the FSB, he follows the legend given by the curators. So, he simply moved further, onto Telegram, but then again, even Telegram gave out real people identities to the Russia secret police. There are well known ones among them, plenty of proof (even photographed docs) were placed on Twitter by those prosecuted. It's literally all over the internet. Some 7 years ago a Russian woman was granted political asylum in EU. I'm actually against those "asylums", those individuals are recruited by the FSB and planted to Europe. Clear as day play. Of course, there were ones that have nothing to do with the FSB, simple peasants to manufacture cases for the Russia police work. I'm sure we have FSB shills even here, on MSFN. Russia actually played very good in terms of polluting and controlling the internet, media and software. (Google founder born in Moscow, Russia, what else is there to say?) Never underestimate your enemy. Fun fact is Russia has zero of their own hardware, not even a single CPU, our Western tech is used against us. Very welcome to give me a warning/ban/whatever, don't care, but you asked yourself.

  8. I think Shawn Keene is being a bit misleading, Aero is not officially supported starting Win8, it was dropped to favour the absolutely flat "Metro" design. DWM in Vista and 7/8 can't be lumped together, they are different. In Vista mu idling GPU with Aero stays at 0%, in Windows 7 it's about 3%. @UCyborg , why?

  9. Important to mention, making this a standalone post. Those jailed ones were not committing real crimes (in contrast to the ones Durov is being accused of). They are punished for the disagreement with Russia's policies.
    1 point
  10. But Durov's VK did accept those demands of the Russian government, there are literally tons of criminal cases against Russian citizens based on their posts in VK. VK gave out all info, including real addressees to the Russian FSB, plenty of arrests were made, then followed by criminal prosecution. Also, Durov made it even worse, without any announcement, he simply sold the VK platform to another Kremlin/FSB controlled oligarch. People were getting jailed for several yeras old posts. It's all publicly known. I obviously shan't post any links, those all are easy to find, I don't want to be falsely blamed for "involving politics into forum" nonsense, so I digress.

  12. Whoever makes MPC-BE intentionally gimps down the hell out of Vista. MPC-BE places artificial blocks, while MPC-HC doesn't You proved it to yourself. DXVA checker says 10bit - yes, supported, at the same time MPC-BE refuses to play 10bit on Vista. The same with HD sound, why? OMG, why? The dudette that makes MPC-BE takes everything from MPC-HC, then blocks certain functioning on Vista. Evidently, he has a strong disdain to Vista.

  13. And they all ended up using the Ancient Greek language. Telegramma consists of two Greek words tele = τῆλε = far, distant and gramma = γράμμα = letter, type. As you put it so aptly, it's all just stolen ...

  14. Which player do you use, PowerDVD, by any chance? I remember it blocked DTS-HD on Vista, also MPC-BE did the same! And MPC-HC works fine with DTS-HD MA and all 10-bit accelerations! MPC-BE is pretty much glitchy garbage. https://forum.cyberlink.com/forum/posts/list/15/43436.page

  15. If the people in charge of Telegram, such as the founder and CEO Pavel Durov, tolerate their service being used for serious crimes such as mass murder, illegal arms and drug trafficking, child pornography, formation of organised crime, organised fraud, war mongering, worst propaganda combined with fake news and so on (the list is almost endless) and do nothing about it, then such subjects must be held accountable. And Pavel Durov is still lucky. He was arrested and charged in the EU (France). Conversely, if such a person from the EU were to be arrested and charged in Pavel Durov's original home country, the usual death sentence would not be long in coming.

  16. TBH, there is actually nothing to work out. Just a bit copy and paste following the instructions. Reading and directly doing is the method.

  17. First of all, a little tip when replying to a post by quoting. Afler clicking the quote button, you should put your reply outside the quote. Otherwise your actual reply is hidden inside the quote, and only expanding the quote would make it readable. Back to the CSS code. All is described in detail in my article and additionally inside the MYPAL_68_CB_requirements.7z package. It's almost like an instruction manual. You can't really do anything wrong. The whole thing actually only takes a few minutes. Once this initial setup is done, you can easily add or manage UC.JS scripts as well as CSS stylesheets. If you have problems following the instructions, feel free to ask here!

  18. The good is that the user of New Moon and Serpent has still the choice, at least until now. All prefetching features can be manually disabled to ensure that uBlock Origin Legacy works properly, especially if the user notices interference. So, everyone can decide for themselves what is important to them.

  19. On a side note, you can try a faster RAM and CPU, it should be less noticeable, then. Also, remove thumbnails generating software to free up the resources for faster rendering.

  23. wxDev-C++ Versions 6 and 7 are the last compatible with 9x systems. https://archive.org/details/wxdevcpp_7/ And it seems that one thing went mostly unnoticed, Borland C++ Builder 1.0 is now free. https://blogs.embarcadero.com/celebrating-25-years-of-cbuilder/ https://cc.embarcadero.com/item/30934 It produces relatively small executable files with a small number of dependencies - only 6 dlls. And after applying the UPX compressor, the executable file is only 100KB.

  24. Besides, sites may simply crash or not work at all when they discover the function they requested is absent in chromium 86. I once used an android mobile UA with this browser, many sites tolerate the old mobile Chrome agent much better. Something like: Mozilla/5.0 (Linux; Android 10; insert phone model) AppleWebKit/537.36 (KHTML, like Gecko) SamsungBrowser/xx.x Chrome/xx.x.xxx.xx Mobile Safari/537.36 xxx replace with the Chrome/browser version you want.

  35. Just tested the latest test build of Firefox 45 ESR SSE. It runs much faster than the previous versions. While testing it, I also managed to finally fix the choppy scrolling issue that happens on Mozilla-based browsers above 800x600 if you use an ATI card. You can find the solution in the UOC Patch thread, check out Update II in the main post, or just check the link below: It will also increase scrolling performance at lower resolutions. But remember, it only works with ATI cards. Nvidia cards don't have this issue.
