  5. I always have the same concerns about software, regardless of whether it originates in Germany, France, Italy, USA, China, India or whatever country. There are good and bad developers, companies that can be trusted more or less, governments that do or do not influence, and so on. At the end of the day, these discussions do not serve any purpose here. This thread is meant to list all available security programs that are still compatible with Windows XP and to spread information about them. Therefore, I would ask you at this point to keep this thread clean, to stop discussions about concerns regarding the country of origin and to contribute something substantive when commenting. I need information, results of testing, recommendations, experiences made in terms of already listed or yet to be listed programs, and further options for Windows XP. My time and resources are limited. So please, be constructive and let's not inflate this thread with unnecessary discussions ! In the end, from all the options listed, the mature readers can decide for themselves which software to trust or not. And I cannot and will not take this personal responsibility away from anyone. Thanks in advance! Kind regards, AstroSkipper

  15. @roytam1 Franklin DM said the following: ".. or maybe VideoJS itself is broken? Only the first video (Disney's Oceans) in their examples page here appears to work fine regardless of the browser in use. The other example videos listed, as well as the one on their front page is broken even in latest Firefox, at least, on my end"

  16. Of course I may! I was born in the USA - not China. You have almost convinced me that XP diehards really are a threat to the security of the Free World, so keep up the great work!

  19. I wonder if version 115 works for him on Vista's extended kernel. Also, I confirm that version 115 works on 8.1.

  20. Nah not true. Latest Chromium Build working fine on 8.1: imgur.com/a/lE6buzI As much as I respect @D.Draker for all of your work and effort, I never really got your intention, of why you want to see Windows 7 and 8.1 getting removed from the Main OS Section from MSFN. No one really complains about this. Why even "downgrade" them to that section. They cannot be compared to Vista, especially Windows 7, since they are more popular and many programs still support them. I got that you dont like Windows 7 and 8, but it is really not up to you to decide which OS is "worth" staying in a section or not. Regards

  21. I propose a 4th (the category of which I fall within) - 4) Your topics are read by the majority herein but replying only perpetuates the stigma of MSFN's transformation from what people claim it used to be, a claimed existence which predates my membership herein and I have never witnessed any strict adherence towards in any "topical" forum I've ever been a member thereof. Tangents and off-topics are always always always present on all all all "topical" forums. Something like that...
