  2. @geeb21 Only MBR works for now with XP. Use Firadisk install as described in https://www.zone94.com/ together with this nice XP SP3 from Ramsey Dietmar https://ufile.io/qz4e1an9

  3. @dizzydevil Just look on left side above in Core Temp https://www.alcpu.com/CoreTemp/ how much the power consumption is with 0% cpu load. It should be less than 20 Watt, then all is ok Dietmar

  6. ... No , I was simply responding to @Anbima's original observation/claim: ... and by "not displayed" I took it to mean: it doesn't fully load/load at all or it produces a blank page, etc. When you then replied to that claim yourself, you started by saying: ... so, again, "results" is interpreted by me (and possibly by other readers) to pertain to whether the referenced URL displays or not in the list of browsers you mentioned... In addition, @Dave-H's reply above yours appears to mention Ch49's inability to load ("it doesn't work") said URL due to missing cipher suites... So, nowhere in the preceding posts was there a description of the site loading, but its embedded search fields not functioning as expected... Have I missed something?

  7. That happens because the VME instructions in AMD Zen and Intel 11th Gen+ are broken. Possibly because 32Bit operating system support was dropped starting with these architectures. A Simple fix for this can be found here, works just fine: https://github.com/JHRobotics/patcher9x/releases/

  8. Hello all, Here is a tutorial on how to run ProxhttpsProxy v1.3a on Windows 2000. First you need to have Visual c++ 2008 installed. Then download Python 3.4.3 but make sure that you don't have "Pip" selected for installation, otherwise it will fail. When you have everything installed, download "Python fix" and run the fix according to the readme description. Finally, you just need to download ProxhttpsProxy, save the certificate in the root certificate store in the local computer and run the batch file "start proxy". Done! Have fun trying Downloads: ProxhttpsProxy v1.3a Python version: https://www.mediafire.com/file/d8jkjm81iz2ea9c/ProxHTTPSProxyMII-7023994cd112df42ca9f78d187d99decc0df7d62.zip/file Microsoft Visual C++ 2008: https://download.microsoft.com/download/1/1/1/1116b75a-9ec3-481a-a3c8-1777b5381140/vcredist_x86.exe Python Fix: https://www.mediafire.com/file/xdb9h0n6k3ph57e/PythonFIX.zip/file Python 3.4.3: https://www.python.org/ftp/python/3.4.3/python-3.4.3.msi

  9. Hello all, There is good news! @ward201185 on MDL has managed to get ProxhttpsProxy v1.3a running on Win 2000! This requires Python and the Python version of ProxhttpsProxy. I will create a tutorial for this soon. It works perfectly in combination with Windows Update v5:

  10. Thanks for your reply and your find! You're absolutely right, Process Explorer v16.26 is fully functional on Windows XP. I checked the versions on filehorse, and there was no version 16.26. Only 16.22 and then 16.30. Therefore, I couldn't check version 16.26. I thought the list there was complete. Anyway, good find and thanks again! Cheers, AstroSkipper

  11. It has been more than a year since Windows Update v6 for XP was put into an infinite redirect loop by Microsoft. It has also almost been two years since the update servers for XP were discontinued. Without the efforts of @maile3241, Windows Update v6 for XP would have never seen the light of day again. Now we can use v6 normally again on XP and are working to making v5, v4 and v3 working again as well. Now is a good time to archive v6, since it is still on Microsoft servers.
