  1. I thought I'd post this list of Windows XP download links in case it's useful to anyone. This is a raw list of updates, and may include updates that are now obsolete. However, it is not an exhaustive list, since it does not contain Internet Explorer updates, updates for the .NET Framework, etc. ENU

  2. You don't need to run the installer. Just open it with 7-Zip, extract the chrome.7z, and unpack the 7z file! Also User Data will be created in its folder, kinda portable!

  3. I know we are most likely done with constantly trying to hack/patch MSE to keep using it...... but I have to say, I miss the constant and wise, comforting presence of heinoganda

  4. Hi alacran, 1) Yes, that's all. Just select the drivers folder and use right click on checkbox to change the unsigned option. 2) Should look like this https://imgur.com/X8Zgd8V for 3 seconds 3) Yes, it just passed the ForceUnsigned parameter to Dism 4) Windows 7 and newer 5) It set testsigning in BCD

  5. Maybe it's already installed in your system. Vista throws that error when updates are already installed (or when they really aren't applicable, but most of the time it's the former).

  7. @Vistapocalypse, I just now installed Windows6.0-KB4474419-v2-x86.msu successfully, rebooted, and haven't any issues, at least for now. The initial version of the update gives in the result the issues I mentioned. At least - on my computer. So good news :)

  8. Not in my opinion. Although the more paranoid may eschew it, I do believe the more browser alternatives we have, the merrier! In fact, to me it's clear that day-to -day use requires just a decently working browser and, preferably, also a not-too-paranoid real-time antivirus. All the rest can be done without any need to use the very latest version of whatever program one must use. So Chrome 360 actually is a welcome gust of much needed fresh air into our already very claustrophobic EoS-is-not-EoL situation. Long Live XP!
