yadzil Posted October 9, 2007 Posted October 9, 2007 I had this problem : WMP11Slipstreamer v0.93 System.IO.FileNotFoundException: C:\uAXP\Edited\Copy of UpdtPackExtra\i386\wmp11temp\Fixes\WM11\wmp.dll at System.Diagnostics.FileVersionInfo.GetVersionInfo(String fileName) at WMP11Slipstreamer.CM.CompareVersions(String fileToCompareAgainst, String fileToCompareTo) at WMP11Slipstreamer.Backend.ApplyFixes() at WMP11Slipstreamer.MainGUI.workerMethod(Object addonSettings) Deleting "C:\uAXP\Edited\Copy of UpdtPackExtra\i386\wmp11temp"... Done! The source being modified has not been damaged. All changes have been successfully reverted. Can somebody help me.Are those update listed at The HotfixeShare can be apply with slipstreamer?
boooggy Posted October 9, 2007 Author Posted October 9, 2007 (edited) ok yadzil we received it......we investigate and will see whats up.....and u should use the updates that are posted on wmp 11 slipstreamer's site Edited October 9, 2007 by boooggy
yadzil Posted October 9, 2007 Posted October 9, 2007 Thanks Boooggy. I did try as you said and I manage to slipstreamed wmp11 successfully. Why are your list shorter than The Hotfixes Share site? Did you remove the old hotfixes ?
boooggy Posted October 9, 2007 Author Posted October 9, 2007 yes yadzil i removed hotfixes that were superseeded. xable keeps also the old fixes.....
wdb1966 Posted October 10, 2007 Posted October 10, 2007 OK, maybe I'm just dense, but can anyone point me to a How-To that shows or explains the step-by-step process?I didn't see one anywhere on the downloads page for the slipstreamer...is it a help file thats installed with the app? What do I download before running the slipstreamer? WMP11, Hotfixes, nLite? Does the slipstreamer only work with nLite? (no, I have not yet used nLite either, but there is good documentation for it)I'm really at a loss of where to even start the process.
