jaclaz
You should be able to do that by modifying WINNT.SIF, see this:http://www.msfn.org/board/index.php?showtopic=84617&hl=jaclaz

John456
This should really be added to nLite.
Ponch
This should really be added to nLite. Some people dont want it. And I think Nuhi is part of them. Here for example. And I'm sure there was an other thread where he was more convincing.http://www.msfn.org/board/index.php?showtopic=78826I'd bet North Korea does want it . Balin
HiThis solution work for me :[Data]AutoPartition=1[unattended]Repartition="YES"You must put this parameter into the WINNT.SIF (generated by nlite)The only problem is the Quick Format. Maybe there is a parameter which can do a long format. Thanks bye
minigun
its not a good idea... suppose one time you want to install to another drive or you accidentally boot from the cd there would be no way to stop the automated format Edited November 2, 2006 by minigun

#rootworm
i re-install windows very often and i have never even thought about doing this.and seeing the type of questions we get here on this board, i think it's very wise of nuhi not to include it in nlite. he probably saved a lot of people a lot of heartache
Ponch
seeing the type of questions we get here on this board, i think it's very wise of nuhi not to include it in nlite.exactly. So much of "how do I re-enable" shows lots of people have not gathered nLite is not turning off but suppressing options. So you want to gain 1/2 a second of performance and the solution to your problem is to recreate an install disk... bang. Now if this (auto format) gets included, this board will crawl under "how do I recover my data" posts. Like "my little brother blah blah blah" or "I helped a friend reinstalled his computer and I had told him not to ...but...". " My new nLite cd reformatted my disk when I did not want to, what did I do wrong... who do I sue ?"
bledd
very dangerouseven for power useri agree, this should never be a part of nlite..its too easy to leave a usb drive in or a 2nd hard drive and get that formatted by accident
Balin
hiYes it is very dangerous .... I aggree whith that but...I have 100 PC workgroup in my job...We prepare PC with the architecture of the societyWe need only 1 partition and all data on Hard disk drive are deleted (user have his data on server)For me it's really nice because i put CD on PC then i press a key and 45 minute later with no action from me my new PC is ready. It's Cool For further installation of windows this way can be a good idea .Thanks all for your opinion and sorry for my english.
