Chozo4 Posted July 24, 2006 Posted July 24, 2006 (edited) AMD all the way due to lower core temps and a larger internal cache.I didn't vote as I dont have or use an 'XP' version. Using an AMD Athlon 64 4000+ [san-Diego] so... no 'XP' in it at all.edit: didn't realize this thread was as old as is said it was. I saw it near the top and automatically assumed it semi recent. Didn't even check the date of the first post. Sorry Edited July 24, 2006 by Chozo4
Thunderbolt 2864 Posted August 15, 2006 Posted August 15, 2006 I have two computers that uses AMD Athlon, but not XP, judging this thread is old.My first PC is an AMD Athlon 3000+ 64 bit, and the one I'm using now is an Athlon AM2 3800+ Dual Core X2.
nitroshift Posted August 17, 2006 Posted August 17, 2006 AMD all the way due to [...] a larger internal cache. Conroe is coming with 4Mb of cache or am I wrong???
N1K Posted August 17, 2006 Posted August 17, 2006 You should renew your poll and ask AMD Athlon 64 FX-62 or Intel Conroe E6600 Intel all the way!
liveinforum.com Posted August 26, 2006 Posted August 26, 2006 I go with AMD coz it has worked so well with my graphical environment like PS and Corel.
ripken204 Posted August 26, 2006 Posted August 26, 2006 You should renew your poll and ask AMD Athlon 64 FX-62 or Intel Conroe E6600 Intel all the way! lol ur right. this poll is way outdated now.
