camrock
I am just doing a very silly thing. I erased my hard drive and went looking for my windows 98se disc. I found the disc but i cant find the sleeve with the code on it. I went onto microsofts site, they want to charge something like $38 to deal with any query, because support stopped in 2003.has anyone any idea what to do.so i have the disc but no code. Its not worth spending alot of money on. Any advice appreciated. Some advice... Don't post all in caps. We can all read just fine. Please refrain from using CAPITALIZATIONS in the topic title or when participating in threads because they will not attract attention - instead it will annoy many of MSFN's members. Andromeda43
MS is over the hill on that stuff. 98/SE is like "yesterday" so why on earth should they hold up a person over it. It's assinine! They are way too hung up on their licensing C..R..A..P..The answer is as close as your best friend. Just ask. Any 98/SE key will work.
