Martin L Posted September 5, 2005 Posted September 5, 2005 Cant seem to get the visual styles to install, upon rebooting xpize it loads up the windows classic theme rather than the luna/royale theme?<{POST_SNAPBACK}>did you try to change it yet? because xpize loads the windows classic theme by default after restart.
Kenny McCormick Posted September 5, 2005 Posted September 5, 2005 Thanks XPero!Very nice work!I just love XPize!
XPero Posted September 5, 2005 Author Posted September 5, 2005 (edited) Martin L and iCEhOT:XPize replaces original Luna with the Luna + Royale VS. I cant explain why it doesnt work for you both. BTW it is not that XPize loads classic theme after reboot, it is just trying to load Royale, but the thing is that the .msstyles file was not replaced properly. I'v checked and checked and I cannot figure out a solution for that. I will still be looking at it. Edited September 5, 2005 by XPero
Ðrзω™ Posted September 5, 2005 Posted September 5, 2005 Thank XPero, i'll upload them both as soon as downloaded and PM you with the links to them for the homepage
iCEhOT Posted September 5, 2005 Posted September 5, 2005 Hrm cant seem to switch the new theme either, it's just not there, although it worked fine in Beta2.
XPero Posted September 5, 2005 Author Posted September 5, 2005 Hrm cant seem to switch the new theme either, it's just not there, although it worked fine in Beta2.<{POST_SNAPBACK}>the process XPize taks is as follows:1) back up the original luna.msstyles2) copies the Royale shell3) replaces the original luna.msstyles with the new one4) applies it after rebootingIt seems that the file hasnt been copied to C:\WINDOWS\Resources\Themes\Luna. but I'm sure the backup (C:\Windows\XPize\backup) and the copy of the Royale shellstyle was made. I really dont have any clue on how to fix this. Has your system something special? edited variables, dleted luna with nLite, removed the theme service?

ubern00b Posted September 6, 2005 Posted September 6, 2005 Does XPize replace the standard Internet Explorer download animations or not? I still get the bog standard ones Would be nice to update those horribly drab looking ones.
