Press any key Posted September 12, 2005 Author Posted September 12, 2005 I'm surprised how many people said they are using Paint for screen shots. Thought you would be using IrfanView for that. (And quick image viewing - and link - open in external editor. ie. Photoshop, PhotoImpact, PSP, PhotoFiltre, etc.) ..Just picky.
ringfinger Posted September 12, 2005 Posted September 12, 2005 I also only use paint for posting screen shots to save to file. Used Paint .Net before format, havent really needed it though so I havent reinstalled it.
rocksoccer Posted September 14, 2005 Posted September 14, 2005 many tools inside xp are rarely used by many people. thats why we want nLite.........the tools are more for the amauters, rather than for users with more requirements...or nobody will buy photoshop!
ColdFusion200 Posted September 14, 2005 Posted September 14, 2005 for screenshots, simple resizing, converting formats
Andromeda43 Posted September 27, 2005 Posted September 27, 2005 I tried MS Paint many years ago.It was lame and looked and acted like a kid's toy.I haven't tried it since. Did they improve it maybe?
orpheus Posted September 28, 2005 Posted September 28, 2005 I use them regulary , it is my starting point to save my screen captures before further editing...
codeblue Posted September 29, 2005 Posted September 29, 2005 Screen prints and basic stuff. Does exactly what it says on the tin!!

suryad Posted September 30, 2005 Posted September 30, 2005 Yep, I am a Paint user and I am not ashamed of it. I dont use Photoshop because honestly I dont need to. Paint takes care of my meagre requirements.
Win2k3EE Posted October 4, 2005 Posted October 4, 2005 I use Paint for screenshots and basic stuff. If I want something more complex then I use PS9.
kz26 Posted October 7, 2005 Posted October 7, 2005 Screenshotting, that's it. But recently I've started using FRAPS - a LOT better for the job.
