XPerties Posted February 2, 2005 Posted February 2, 2005 I was shocked to see it, and no mention anywhere. It looks good, but not professional. SWITCH BACKI would love to see your genius idea of what a professional site looks like.Is it hosted on lycros? Give me a break, it's a great look for MSFN.
Drewdatrip Posted February 2, 2005 Posted February 2, 2005 Not everyone is gonna like it...However i think its really nice!Looks great and sleekCant wait to see the forum in matching designWell Done Xper |Drew|
sonu27 Posted February 2, 2005 Posted February 2, 2005 Sik new design! But it doesn't go with this design.
Tokugawapants Posted February 2, 2005 Posted February 2, 2005 I like the new design a lot, although the completely white background (with the text on top) is a bit hard on the eyes. To somewhat echo sonu27's comment, is that design going to be applied to the entire site?
epic Posted February 2, 2005 Posted February 2, 2005 (edited) I was shocked to see it, and no mention anywhere. It looks good, but not professional. SWITCH BACKmsfn is not professional site. professional designers want $2.000-$3.000. sure.anyway, i put it online just to see reactions before i do forum upgrade but it seems that will not happen any time soon. It's basically a skin for vB, simple. It looks good & MSFN has not had a change for some time to it's front page. However, for being nearly a 'Professional' site I would consider other designs, since many Professionals do visit the site & post often. Less cluckiness is appeals more to the eye and easier on page load. Cheers, to the fella who made a nice design (his personal taste), but it's not MSFN style. I just came up with a few suggestions:http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v284/epi..._msstyle_ii.pnghttp://img.photobucket.com/albums/v284/epi...ome_msstyle.pnghttp://img.photobucket.com/albums/v284/epi...SFN/msfn_ss.pnghttp://img.photobucket.com/albums/v284/epi...msstyle_gii.pnghttp://img.photobucket.com/albums/v284/epi...e_msstyle_g.pnghttp://img.photobucket.com/albums/v284/epi...style_plain.pnghttp://img.photobucket.com/albums/v284/epi...tyle_gplain.png Edited February 2, 2005 by epic
buletov Posted February 2, 2005 Posted February 2, 2005 it's very nice but it makes me think it's made for kids...

xper Posted February 2, 2005 Posted February 2, 2005 We experiencing heavy issues with new look. Old msfn look will be switched back until we work it out. Sorry.Moved
DigeratiPrime Posted February 2, 2005 Posted February 2, 2005 I agree somewhat with some points. The kidish theme is do to the colorful tables, beveled edges, and "WMP9 curves". Its still good, but it needs to match the forum as well, as it is now too much contrast.I personally perfer this look:http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v284/epi...SFN/msfn_ss.png
mark Posted February 2, 2005 Posted February 2, 2005 I like the layout of the old page but I do like the new header. I know not much changed in the layout but I got used to having 'forum', 'login' and the rest across the top.DLEdit> Ok, Digeratiprime was posting at the same time I was and he got the look I really like. Good job Digeratiprime. And good job xper.
