But it doesn't go with this design.

I like the new design a lot, although the completely white background (with the text on top) is a bit hard on the eyes.

To somewhat echo sonu27's comment, is that design going to be applied to the entire site?

msfn is not professional site. professional designers want $2.000-$3.000. sure.

anyway, i put it online just to see reactions before i do forum upgrade but it seems that will not happen any time soon.

It's basically a skin for vB, simple.

It looks good & MSFN has not had a change for some time to it's front page. However, for being nearly a 'Professional' site I would consider other designs, since many Professionals do visit the site & post often. Less cluckiness is appeals more to the eye and easier on page load.

We experiencing heavy issues with new look. Old msfn look will be switched back until we work it out. Sorry.

I agree somewhat with some points. The kidish theme is do to the colorful tables, beveled edges, and "WMP9 curves". Its still good, but it needs to match the forum as well, as it is now too much contrast.

I like the layout of the old page but I do like the new header. I know not much changed in the layout but I got used to having 'forum', 'login' and the rest across the top.
