also pls specify if u like its ATI or nVidia cards and why in particular.

also specify the chipset (ie. Asus nVidia Fx 5700, ATI Radeon X800, etc.)

to be more specific :) could u also say which games u played at what resolution and what graphics quality? and did the game run smoothly?

Thanks :hello::thumbup

I guess the only thing I can say is ATI seing as both of the graphic cards that I've bought (Radeon 7200 and 9800 Pro) were ATI built. They work as well as I need them too :)

i've heard a lot of good comments from sapphire so that's my vote (but i don't own one of them), i personally use a gigabyte gfx but it has disappointed me a little :}

I've heard from lots of people that they use ATI and it is very good. I purchased a PNY GeForce FX 5500 because I just needed a really cheap 128mb PCI card with Dual Monitor capabilities (and it came with Madden 2004 for free), and there was a similar ATI at the store but with no dual monitor.

I like Asus cards and I am going to be trying an Albatron I have heard great things about. I usually prefer nVidia over ATI because the driver support seems better most of the time. This is really true inder Linux.

Been happy with my MSI (nVidia)-

1. Good quality

2. Good service and quick response to support/replacement calls

3. Never seen anyone with an MSI card saying it was a bad card

4. Good driver support and updates

5. Well documented manual

6. Wide availability at a range of price-points

Pretty much all (even new) games play fine on my (year old) gfx card, so draw your inferences. ;)
