Ungoogled, obviously not, hence the name.  Standard - yes!
After all, it's just a backport adopted to the older OS, without someone's
crooked hands getting into the core engine...

Thanks, that is certainly good to know, that there is an alternative to Supermium should that ever become necessary for me.
I've looked at other Chromium forks in the past which didn't include Google Sync, which is why I asked.

its nice to have a other chrome for windows xp, seems that i was mistaken

i wasnt looking for e3kskoy7wq´s browser because the title just says something about win7

"Firefox and Chromium running on Windows 7 by e3kskoy7wqk"

I need to change the description and content of the thread because Chromium has been running on Windows XP for a long time, while Firefox runs on Windows Vista.

So ek3-random is YOU ???

If so, EXTREMELY nice to now have a REAL NAME to go with that project.

Keep up the great work!

Can we please have a DEDICATED THREAD here at MSFN for that project?

With a LINK so that we don't all have to try to remember that random string of characters?

That user is NOT "e3kskoy7wqk", he's not here, at MSFNl he never was!

Freaking stop calling him "random string", "dead at the keyboard" or whatever disrepectful tags you call him,

as it might be his real tag they generate for the populace in China, as they write in the newspapers.

Sorry, but what exactly is that?
:dubbio:

You mean why is it better than Supermium? For me, it seems to bench better (in XP), and seems to drop fewer frames in YT. "Seems" because haven't tested extensively + not sure if anyone other than myself experiences Supermium in XP dropping frames.

BTW, win32 knows the author [or maybe just his work] & refers people to him: https://github.com/win32ss/supermium/issues/1183#issuecomment-2688498965

Not endorsing the browser, but am using it with XP & not seeing any drawbacks (other than it's not the devil we know).

<disregard previous statement.  e3k is both faster by score *and* faster by duration of test.>

<granted, this also compares v144 to v150 because those are the most recent of both forks>

<I personally like e3k *way more* than Supermium.  BUT...  I would also call it more of a "gut feeling" than a "scientific justification".>

<Plus, in my readings throughout the 'net, there are DOZENS of forks that REFERENCE e3k as their "base" and *NONE* that reference Supermium as their "base".>

Here is my Supermium test result:
