March 23, 20251 yr Any my archives indicate that I also used winPenPack "X-Launcher" with Supermium and the X-Launcher also has the ability to delete files/folders at exit.

Just put the loader exe file in the same folder as chrome.exe, along with its associated INI file where the settings are stored. This is mine for reference. I had equivalents for Thorium as well, but I've now removed that.

I don't want the registry to be possibly messed up again. use "Chrome.exe --make default browser" could make supermium to the default browser, it's OK on XP on my laptop, and it works well on win7 on my vmware too
