DreamMail Pro has been updated again and is now available in version 6.6.6.10. It is still XP-compatible, and the development is ongoing! :thumbup I have not been able to find a version history on their homepage. To force the updated installer of DreamMail Pro 6.6.6.10 to use English instead of Chinese as the installer language, I updated again my small loader that does this when it calls up the setup program. It must be executed in the same directory in which the setup file is located with its original file name dmpro_setup6.6.6.10.exe. Here is the download link of my loader Force_En_Install_DM_Pro_66610.exe:

Although some virus scanners detect this file as malicious, it is just a false-positive as always. Use my loader to force an English install, only if you trust me, of course! :yes:

A clarification.
An "app password" is a password chosen by the provider that is more robust than those normally chosen by customers; otherwise it functions identically to traditional passwords.

One same "app password" can be used with multiple POP3 and IMAP clients, and in each client, for each remote account,  multiple local accounts can be set up with different POP3 or IMAP access modes.
The my main mail client is still Outlook 2003, and using MyPhoneExplorer I can synchronize with Andoid devices.

I already checked this client some months ago. It supports the OAuth2 protocol. Do you use Office365? Does it in the meanwhile work with it? Only interesting for @Mathwiz. I don't use Office365, only the email service Outlook.com, the little brother of Office365.

Just for completeness, my main email client in Windows XP is MailNews, which perfectly works with all my email accounts. In addition, I have installed DreamMail Pro, which also works with all the email accounts I use. :) Of course, MailNews is a powerful email client and more than that. :thumbup

I must have missed this thread (or maybe posted a response to someone not knowing where it was).

I'm an Interlink refugee, and while I can move to MailNews (since Tobin has not updated Interlink in a year and a half now), I REALLY want to use an x64 build.  I realize Roytam1 doesn't want to provide that, but it would have been the PERFECT solution.

Has anyone attempted building an x64 build of MailNews?  I'm testing the x86 version it on Windows 8, but I would LOVE an x64 build instead.  Sigh!

Still I prefer to use an application natively, rather than through x86 emulation if I can.  I don't see that as "just because".  However, even if that were the case, I still prefer to run an application that utilizes the native bus-width of the OS I'm using.  My choice - good enough reason for me :)

It does present a very interesting case study, to be honest.  (Has Roytam detailed why he does not compile x64?)
I don't know how to test and would be interested in insights towards testing.

I hope I'm not over-simplifying, but I've always viewed it this way (I am a "debugger", not a "programmer", but in a very different line of work [automobile engine controllers]) -
x86 versus x64 being ran on an x64 system (all of my machines are x64) is two highways running side-by-side.
One highway has 8 lanes of traffic (the x64 lanes) and the other has 4 lanes of traffic (the x86 lanes).
The x64 lanes of traffic have 200 cars traveling on it, quite congested and where one "multi-clock-cycle" algorithm slows the entire highway to a crawl until it squeezes through.
While the x86 lanes of traffic have only 20 cars traveling on it, no congestion whatsoever, miles between each car.
Unloading 10 of the 20 cars and moving them from the x86 lanes onto the x64 lanes creates a traffic jam and slows things down.

I'm probably over-simplifying.
Fingers crossed that one of our resident high-skilled programmers can chime in.  :dubbio:

Unfortunately not. It is 32-bit. I knew this when I ran DreamMail Pro under a Windows 7 x64 VM, and it said *32 next to DreamMail.exe in Task Manager.
