WULover Posted March 29, 2022 Author Posted March 29, 2022 Here is the problem. I can't find any "splash.asp" page in wayback machine (they're in arabic)

The first time I opened the page, I was asked to install the control. The problem why it stops here is that the "splash.asp" pages are not available. I think there is something missing

Now, we can download the "splash.asp" with wayback machine downloader.
WULover Posted March 31, 2022 Author Posted March 31, 2022 (edited) Are the other splash.asp pages in the folder? With the wayback machine downloader, you can download all Windows Update V4 in every language, with all files using this in cmd with ruby: gem wayback_machine_downloader http://v4.windowsupdate.microsoft.com Then restore the website This is just an idea, so, what do u think of that? I already know about ruby, but some languages like Japan, Russian, Indonesia, and others were available in the wayback machine but wayback machine downloader was not downloading it
WULover Posted March 31, 2022 Author Posted March 31, 2022 Sad I think you can type http://v4.windowsupdate.microsoft.com/ja/ in the cmd
maile3241 Posted April 1, 2022 Posted April 1, 2022 IE indicates that the redirect.js cannot be accessed. Possibly this is the problem?

WULover Posted April 2, 2022 Author Posted April 2, 2022 I'm trying to download the splash.asp page with wayback machine downloader
WULover Posted April 2, 2022 Author Posted April 2, 2022 I downloaded the page, here it is: http://download.overrender.com/content/software/other/mysoft/splash3.zip

WULover Posted April 2, 2022 Author Posted April 2, 2022 I think in the same folder as the splash.asp default page
