Why my post number is stable, stopped at 420?..yet I write more and more posts...

Yes, I can see that it is 422. It didn't stop.

Can we put a LIMIT to how many posts any single member can post in one day?

That would be a slippery slope, next would be putting a limit to pointless/senseless ones (no more than one per week per member), another one for otiose ones, etc.

Posts in Funny Farm section does not increase post count.

PS: I'm a member of a forum that uses badges and they had badges for "posts in a day" such as 10, 100, 250, 500 and 1000. I think on that forum no one got to 1000 posts in a day but I did manage to get 500 posts in a day. But since multiple members attempted the 500 posts in a day badge on the same day, the Admin decided that giving a badge for 500 (or 1000) posts in a day was a bad idea.

Well ... it wasn't one of my "better days" .. but, that is me I 'clean up well'. I'm actually the only one down here that even knows how to use a computer, not easy when you don't have fingers to type.

Same here!  Seems to me that only "attention-seeking" folks would really even CARE what the "count" is.  The Facebook "like/dislike" crowd!

.. and would to let the other respondents know that I am not one of those who follow the counting posts closely...it was by chance that I became aware of stagnant numbers, while posting on 'The MSFN café..." thread...
