Unfortunately, it's not possible to remove the "< Back" button, and Jumplists will be unavailable (although I don't think anyone still uses them).

P.S. If you're willing to get the 10-ish Menu style, I recommend do this as well:

Hi!

Thanks for the help, will give it a try!

Back button isn't a problem and yes, who still uses jump lists :)? Just wanted the vanilla W11 start menu to show "All apps" list by default.

Thanks again

Here you go, let me know if there's anything else I can provide to assist in this matter.

I've managed to reproduce Win+B problem, but not Alt/Win+Tab ones. Do you have anything interesting in the debug log if you restart explorer.exe while DebugView is started? Does Task View work from taskbar?

Is it possible to disable the transparency SAB adds to the classic context menus? (asking again because nobody responded)

I'll give it a try tomorrow, it does seem like it works initially at boot and then stops at a certain point.

Tried it and unfortunately it doesn't work.

@Tihiy I was hoping about something like ExplorerPatcher has (an option to default Start Menu to "All Apps" section).

Thanks anyway to both

This is all I have:

Alt+Tab seems to work fine UNTIL I try to use Win+Tab, then both don't work (until an explorer restart). Nothing interesting appears in DebugView after that though.

Ok, the problem is Task View broken. Fixed build:

Works perfectly, thanks so much!

I guess while I'm here, maybe I can request a feature

Is there a possibility of getting the tray combined with the center segment to achieve a dock-like effect? Or if not, a way to have two segments but no background on the tray segment?

Either way, thanks for the killer app!

Explorer does not remember the size and position of its window if the "ribbon interface" is selected.

- StartAllBack 3.5.2.4532

- Win 22621.675

Fixed !!!

SAB -- 3.5.3.4540

Win -- 25227.1010

Many thanks !

Clicking the "About" tab and then checking for updates does nothing for me.  It's actually never done anything since I started using it.  Is this expected behavior?  Is it actually supposed to check for a new version/build?

Thanks!

StartAllBack 3.5.3 after update Windows 11 to 22H2 22621.755 doesn't work at all. Does anybody have the same issue?

I'm on the same build with no issues. Are you running anything that could conflict like Start11 or Explorer Patcher?

I've also been noticing many restarts, but didn't mention it because I thought it was due to my running some extremely memory intensive tasks for long periods.

Just for the record, I've since tried running the aforementioned "extremely memory intensive tasks" with SaB deactivated, and found that the normal Windows taskbar also chokes on them - which is why I haven't bothered to find a way to send crash dumps (since I now am fairly certain that my crashes are occurring in Microsoft's code and not SaB's).

No, I always use StartAllBack only
