And the AIO's for VC++ and .NET that Milkinis linked to were integrated in already! Highly recommend.

Yes, but it's not everyone's desire to use a customized Windows XP installation. I personally prefer using Windows XP Pro SP3 untouched without anything integrated in it.

True, true. I'm just sharing my experience for those who may not have used it before. Might be helpful for someone, Idk!

I have used it before, and while I do like it, I personally prefer untouched Windows XP versions. Don't worry, I am not saying what you're doing is bad though.

Yeah man for sure. Tbh I would've preferred using an untouched installation, but in my case for whatever reason .NET just wouldn't play nice🤷‍♂️

BTW @Milkinis thx alot for those links! Didn't even know those existed.

bye bye. I have already deleted the crap PANDA DOME. :thumbdown

the user interface looks terrible to my eyes with sliding hidden menus and awuful visual style, this is one out of many reasons why I hate the modern Windows editions.

it's slower overall whether scanning files or launching the program than is AVAST

I have a folder on the desktop with 8 malicious files (they are not false positives) all them flagged by AVAST but this PANDA DOME did only spot 1 out of 8

more, I have another folder with a virus and this PANDA DOME showed it was moved into the virus chest which is not true.

more, if you restore a file from the virus chest PANDA DOME will not flag it over again because it will be seen as a clean file which is not true

more, I restarted the computer and to my surprise the virus chest got wiped out for no apparent reason.

more, the report log displays ''unknown name'' so it's not even able to tell the name of the suspicious detected trojans.

the only plus side of PANDA DOME is that it allows you to fully disable it to prevent any service from loading on startup, this is not possible with AVAST

long story short short I don't recommend the crap PANDA DOME to anyone

a recent review claimed BIT DEFENDER to be the best scoring AV and AVAST in second place but it doesn't support XP anymore unfortunately

its also pirated I think which is against the forum rules to talk about things like that on here. No Illegal/Copyrighted Software Discussion

Discussion of circumventing WGA/activation/timebombs/license restrictions, use of keygens, or any other illegal activity, including, but not limited to, requests for help where pirated software is being used or being discussed, will also not be tolerated. Offenders may be banned on first violation.

I didn't find the official link hence I posted an alternate link from a reliable source

as for the the forum rule.... pfffff no comments.

Rule 1b clearly states -

"Respect the requests of companies who do not permit redistribution of their products without express permission - including unmodified hotfix/feature pack packages. Download sources for official software should be from the vendor directly where possible. Posts made containing this type of content may be removed immediately without warning, and offenders may be banned on first violation."

As you clearly don't care about the rules here, I would remind you that you could be banned for this.
Consider this a public warning.
Further infringements will not be tolerated.

if you run XP from a virtual machine or it's not your primary system that's the best turnaround for most users @Ryder252 that way you don't bother downloading updates

the NET framework AIO is safe to use though

I do run XP in a virtual machine. The screenshots that I post (which show XP), are from XP in a virtual machine, as I don't use XP as my main system anymore.

None of these negative statements here about Panda Dome can be confiirmed by me, and such kind of presenting "facts" are rather meaningless. Panda Dome has been tested many times in the past and the protection found to be good. In any case, I trust such tests much more than any "data" presented here in a highly dubious manner.
Here are some links to form your own opinion:
https://www.av-comparatives.org/vendors/panda/
https://www.lifewire.com/panda-free-antivirus-review-1356582
And here are the last tests of Panda by av-test.org:
https://www.av-test.org/en/antivirus/home-windows/manufacturer/panda-security/

And one thing In general. A program is only as good as it is installed, configured and operated. And logically, that also depends massively on the user.smilie_denk_24.gif

well if it's a virtual system I could not care less about it being ''untouched without anything integrated in it.''
