Later drivers don't support Vista animore. i think the usb 3.1 type c(thunderbolt) is the asmedia one only,ill try to get a type-c to type-a adapter,my vista installed them on its own last time to much suprise,i think this means the thunderbolt will work apparently,even if it doesnt work ill have usb 3.1 gen 2 speeds i already have that driver,its the one that works. dencorso Posted January 9, 2017 Share Posted January 9, 2017 Well, the thunderbolt has plenty of juice (meaning a high current upper limit) so if you give it a type-c to type-a adapter, and connnect a hub to it you should have enough ports for everything, including the mouse and any storage media you may want to connect. But you didn't answer my other question (although it's out o mere curiosity, by now): the machine does actually recognize the keyboard in one of the intel usb ports and it does work OK, right?
