usaff22 Posted October 30, 2013 Posted October 30, 2013 Eagerly awaiting an x86 version. Thanks for your time bigmuscledear bigmuscle, I can live with the "beta" popup and the dwm window, but is it really necessary to have that damned watermark?Agreed
bigmuscle Posted October 30, 2013 Author Posted October 30, 2013 Watermark is going to replace the message box to be less noisy.
hfb Posted October 30, 2013 Posted October 30, 2013 Thanks.I´d prefer the message box, but it´s better to have aeroglass with restrictions than no glass at all...
NoelC Posted October 30, 2013 Posted October 30, 2013 Watermarks don't interrupt peoples' games. I think it's a good move. It's the same thing Microsoft does with evaluation versions of Windows.-Noel
fireboyche Posted October 30, 2013 Posted October 30, 2013 Can someone explain me how to install Beta 2? I haven't run any previous version and I don't know how to run Beta 2.

shelter Posted October 30, 2013 Posted October 30, 2013 (edited) FYI, Battlefield 4 crashed on me making all windows invisible, all i saw was a grey border around them, Luckily I managed to access the DWM.exe window and close it so DWM restarted, then all was OK again. Not sure if there's anything to do about this in the future but I thought it was worth mentioning.EDIT:Same thing happend when I updated my Radeon drivers, might be a driver issue, didn't happen the first time I updated. userworld Posted October 31, 2013 Posted October 31, 2013 Sorry for bad english, I'm Russian, and helps me google translate. There is a bug: (Running the application Magnify.exe leads to a drop and restart dwm.exe, maybe not immediately, but each time, until Magnify.exe is closed.P.S. Have a license. Thank you!P.P.S. Everything else is just great

Not a big deal for me, personally, since I never use the tool, but...
bigmuscle Posted October 31, 2013 Author Posted October 31, 2013 It is the same problem as with multiple displays, currently I don't apply any transformation to the image (except of translation) and that's why it can cause problems.
bigmuscle Posted November 1, 2013 Author Posted November 1, 2013 (edited) AERO GLASS for Win8.1 Beta 3We're still closer and closer to RC and final, so here is another beta to test.Changes:* applied affine transformation to glass safety zone and blur effect rendering* registry settings is loaded even when AppInit_DLLs loading is not used* CustomThemeResource settings is read from registry again (but custom atlas is not applied to already visible windows - they need to be refreshed manually)* fixed blur on regions consisting of more than 4 rectanglesAnd yes, you still need to manually download symbols for udwm.dll, dwmcore.dll and dwm.exe else it won't work.http://glass8.berlios.de Edited November 1, 2013 by bigmuscle

hfb Posted November 1, 2013 Posted November 1, 2013 I can´t get a custom theme resource to work with beta 3...and glass reflections are gone.
