April 23, 200917 yr In this moment the best support for Windows XP for those who can run both in the same computer.I run 98SE and Windows 2000 together, and have them configured to look as near identical as possible.They support each other perfectly.IMO Windows 2000 is far more Windows 98SE's "NT twin" than XP.Long may 98SE endure, despite the ever increasing attempts to kill it!

April 23, 200917 yr Three cheers for 98se!This so called outdated OS, is the OS for me.It does not matter what new “modern” OS appears,I shall use 98se, unto the end of my years.With the help from the members of this stupendous web site,my 98se works unbelievable grand, all through the day, and all through the night.I've no thing against Windows XP,but the OS I'm in love with, is 98se!

April 24, 200917 yr Happy 10th Birthday for Win98se. That's 50 in cat years, 70 for dogs and something like 100 for Microsoft Operating Systems.Hard to believe that decades pass by this quickly. I still have working hard drives loaded with these memorable dates ...10/31/19903/10/19927/11/19958/24/19965/11/19984/23/19996/8/2000- That last one is, well, less important -We should try to get back to this thread once a year into the future. If the forum still exists I'm betting 15 is very possible. Do I hear 20?
