For your eyes only, don't tell anyone.

Changes and download

Some of you will be annoyed by the new WAIK download but I had to do it, or so they tell me.

You can install this vLite version over the old one and it will work without the fatty download. So backup the v1.1.6 before I remove it from the site.

Initiate hatred...mark.

Thnaks for the new version nuhi :thumbup

BTW for the service tweaks, can you change to behave like nLite? What I mean is you just double-click to change between Auto/Manual/Disabled. Itd be easier than using the menus.

Still menu but never mind, you do this only once and just save your config

:thumbsup for Nuhi

InitiateED hatred....

@nuhi

why stopped redist wimgapi.dll ?

isn't it a Redist from m$ ? did they said u to stop redist it?

i think it is the reason why we have to download waik :(

ADVICE for all: just keep old ver (1.1.6) and install upcoming version of vLite above it(or extract wimgapi.dll from it).

Note to Nuhi!

Please specify the Function Discovery service in changelog as there are two services with similar name:

*Function Discovery Provider Host

*Function Discovery Resource Publication

As the first is started manually on all Vista editions i am assuming you are referring to the second?.

Octopuss, to be on the safe side, can't find any info that it is allowed.

anonymous_user, double-clicking works fine for me, aim the name of the service.

Tomorrow, it's both, whole Function Discovery support.

Gonna update the description to be more clear.

Just wondering what are the new numbers on the smallest Vista Install after installation?

By looking at the changelog i shouldn't expect much at all??

And if the unsigned drivers warning is still there? Having to click 50 times when i reinstall Vista isn't so much fun ><

The minimum ISO size should stay the same as with 1.1.6.

Yep the unsigned drivers warning remains as a major annoyance(though im investigating a way around that)

I still don't get it. Since when are developers of free software told how to pack the stuff and whar installer to use?

On a side note - any more tweaks coming up? I guess it's not that fast to discover them though :)
