  1. This is a great guide, thanks!
  2. jquintino, here you go - link.
  3. Looks like a good utility. But presently I'm using AutoPlay Medfia Studio 5 for autoruns, and its fantastic so I may not move. As for ultraiso, the hidden folders/files are hidden no matter whether it is dos/windows/linux.
  4. You need to enable it yourself manually - and use regshot to monitor the changes to do it automatically next time.
  5. Well, there's newer CD-writer drives being sold, which are clearly marked as being able to write 99 minute CDs (850 MB). So I wanted to know if even the older cd-writers can write 850 MB.

    Why?

everything about politicians and politics ticks me off! They will just as easily take bribes or offer homes for the poor as they will threaten (in my country) to invade a neighbour nation - all just for votes, they don't actually mean it. But that's the best system of governance we have yet. The most that can happen is a hundred morons shooting off their mouths - that gives some peace of mind. If it was a monarchy or a communist system, the person might have been able to ACTUALLY carry out what they say - scary.
  7. No more such comments please. Post your own pics as well, and keep the thread friendly.
  8. Madhits45, are you referring to geeXbox ?
  9. For average-level security, 6 characters in a password (with a word mot in a dictionary) would be sufficient.
  10. See Aston, see Talisman Desktop. Both are good.
  11. This 750 and 850 MB thing..... is it with a normal CD-writer? Because there are newer writers specifically made for 99 min writing. So Nero 6606 allows it with a normal writer drive?
  12. Those are language groups. Install it, and then after setup you can get related languages and keyboard layouts (like your CNS-Taiwan).
  13. You need to restart windows to see the changes.
  14. I doubt it has changed any settings. More likely (as above) it *ITSELF* is having problems (considering all the new ServicePacks and so on). Everest could give results that you can rely on.
  15. sure frees If I get any new ideas I'll post here.
  16. We are referring to this screen:
  17. Right, I saw that in the ezb forum by you, I believe. umm.... I have a question for you. Using Acronis Disk Director Suite 9, starting OS selector asks for my key everytime. Having a license, how can I have it already embedded so it won't ask again?

    Why?

Why is it that we have driver's tests, 6 years of college to become an architect or doctor, the bar exam for attorneys - but any moron making (ignorant) statements... can exert influence on the future of this country? (this seems to be true in any country across the world. How about YOUR country?)
  19. ****, too complex. I have disabled my floppy drive from BIOS (for security and speed reasons). I use virtual floppy disk to mount empty images created by winimage. Then when its written to, unmount it and merge all the floppy images. In any case, with acronis its very easy. Use the Media Builder to write to a CD-RW, then use ultraiso to extract the BIF. Then use easyboot to load it with bootinfotable command. The biggest advantage with easyboot is that it has its own folder by default, and does not go cluttering the root folder of your CD. Use ultraiso to "hide" the ezboot folder, and even THAT is not visible now - perfectly clean CD (and anyone who copies your CD will normally be idiotic enough to not do an ISO or CD-to-CD copy, and will end up with a useless disk stripped of its boot-sector).
  20. ****, must have been really "hard" headed. I can guarantee that I am able to feel my head bump against the wall even when I'm sleeping and wake up in pain.
  21. Problem solved already. ^^^^^ JellyBean key-finder.
  22. duh! That's the beauty of a forum thread. That match has already ended days ago, and the thread moved back on topic.
  23. Its for "BenchMarking". Just like how back in school, your teachers gave you tests to see how well you scored. The higher the scores, the better you were supposed to be compared to the rest of the class. ( not that it was always a good way to rank people, but there's no better way as yet.... )
  24. That's right. Vicond, the same method in the guide will work all the way from win2k pro/server to XP to ws2k3 server.
  25. You create your winnt.sif using Setup Manager (from deploy.cab), don't you? See the regional settings screen more closely, for advanced/custom.
