  3. Sure! You a star now Hmmm... This magazine DOES get exported to the gulf, Australia & a few western countries as well. Probably some big bookstore in your city has this on sale. But if you don't manage to get hold of the printed magazine, here's the online archive of the same: 1. Go to - http://pcquest.com/archive/listArchive.asp?mode=seek 2. Select September 2005. 3. Click this article - Pack Power into Windows - Sanjay Majumder If you want direct link to article - http://pcquest.com/content/search/showarti...74697&mode=disp (it will be PUBLICLY readable after 45 days of publication - they do this so that paid subscribers get an exclusive service) If you would like, then I can post photos of the magazine cover & the page where this review appears, etc.
  4. On opera here, I get neither the shdoclc.dll prompts, nor the "forever refresh" problem on index
  5. Home Page Many people know from their own experience that it's not easy to install an Apache web server and it gets harder if you want to add MySQL, PHP and Perl. XAMPP is an easy to install Apache distribution containing MySQL, PHP and Perl. XAMPP is really very easy to install and to use - just download, extract and start. Changelog: * Update MySQL 4.1.15 * Update PHP 5.0.5 * Update PEAR * Update FileZilla FTP Server 0.9.10a * Update phpMyAdmin 2.6.4-pl1 * Update sendmail v16 * and much more ...
  6. Hmm.... Dunno, maybe some cross-solution of IRC-cum-web might be implemented in the future. For now, its going to be web-only.
  7. You mean legit?Where?
  8. Yep. That's what I'm planning. Those who access this site, do use a browser already. It would be simple to just access the live chat as well, through browser. Probably the previous attempts to get forum-ers onto live-chat, did not get much response, because it involved downloading or using extra programs - mIRC, or a IE applet, & the like... And this is why, the approach is going to be different this time.
  9. If so, then better use BitComet, as it also has a tracker built-in. Only thing is, both bitcomet & azureus are gigantic resource hogs. But then, azureus is a bigger hog. Moreover, running as a Java app slows down the system further, besides leaving vulnerabilities & scope for crashes.
  10. So that they can enjoy the sight of seeing their server buckling down under the load
  11. GRRRRR, they suck. :angrym: Had to trip around for half an hour, registering & completing compulsory surveys & whatnot. Plus the added bother that non-IE browsers dont work fine at first go, & so on.... Let not the next person have to suffer the same again! Here's the direct link to the WindowsXP SP2 (and lower), OPK - http://oem.microsoft.com/downloads/worldwi..._x86fre_opk.zip (205 MB). Its the OPK that has WinPE 1.2 as well, so enjoy!
  12. Per-thread RSS will also come eventually. For now, you can just subscribe to topic, to track it - & get notified of new posts by mail.
  13. Hi everyone! Here's an update on the progress. MartinL & me were evaluating various options, and finally decided on using this one: http://www.x7chat.com/ demo We will have the chatroom ready by one or two days. Or maybe, even sooner!
  14. Congratulations to the maker of this tool! Its now even more famous! You know what? WinXP Power Packer has been featured in a printed magazine publication. And a pretty big one at that. PC Quest (published in India) September 2005 Page 61 Homepage on the web Version reviewed: RC3 In the one-page article, they mention Bashrat The Sneaky's DriverPacks as well.
  15. Tried it on: IE7 RSS reader Firefox live bookmarks Opera RSS Working fine
  16. Azureus is not a TRACKER http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/BitTorrent_tracker - there's a few tracker software listed at bottom of that page. You could try those...
  17. FTP Download homepage
  18. Thanks...*burp*
  19. This one is still there!
  20. You had it posted in wrong section. Topic moved from General Discussion to Websites&Boards.
  21. True, this search engine by them, uses the same engine (vivisimo) & created lot of hype when it launched - http://clusty.com/
  22. Ability to change member display names, is disabled? Ok, no problemo... The title-bar background is white, which is looking bad when "show pictures" is turned off in IE. Example is in attached picture - that white space where i have drawn red brush: EDIT: Ah, caught one more. The "print this topic" function does not display all posts, its limited to very less now. Try going to this topic - http://www.msfn.org/board/index.php?showtopic=27911&st=810 Now try printing it - http://www.msfn.org/board/index.php?act=Pr...er&f=70&t=27911 It doesn't show till the last post of that topic!
