Now lets all become monsters! http://monster.namedecoder.com whats YOUR monster name? -
A psychiatrist was conducting a group therapy session with four young mothers and their small children. "You all have obsessions," he observed. To the first mother he said, "You are obsessed with eating. You even named your daughter Candy." He turned to the second mom. "Your obsession is money. Again, it manifests itself in your child's name, Penny." He turned to the third mom. "Your obsession is alcohol and your child's name is Brandy." At this point, the fourth mother got up, took her little boy by the hand and whispered, "Come on, Dick, let's go home."

Hey ya all, As you might have known, Age of Empires III has come out. Been playing it since October 10th... Its cool, wonderful in so many ways. It ROCKS, and moreover i already was a fan of well-made real-time strategy games like AOE3. Now, the problem is that i got it too soon. Google searches turn up nothing. Does anyone know any cheats for aoe3 ? Please post links or the cheats, in here. Also, do post your thoughts about the game, and how it was, whether u liked it, etc...

Nice.... So now its growing! Went from 78 KB to 92 KB now. (in the context that one of its big attractions is its under 100 KB & is looking like breaking that barrier)

Microsoft warns, don't use "Windows XP Service Pack 3 Preview
prathapml replied to prathapml's topic in Technology News
AutoPatcher is individual hotfixes all in one folder - but this "SP3 preview" is all merged together, WITH private fixes as well. Not checked whether it can be integrated into I386. And...... Stick with RyanVM's pack, thats much better. And what's the url being filtered? And thats exactly the reason MS found it necessary to come out & announce that its a 3rd party package, so that ppl arent mis-led. -
Microsoft warns, don't use "Windows XP Service Pack 3 Preview" This is not the first time that Windows fanatics create their own "Service Pack" by collecting all available hotfixes in to one installable pack. I have posted articles about these packs over the years because I find those projects pretty cool, but am aware that it is obviouly not supported by Microsoft and should not be used in "production environments". The latest Windows XP SP3 pack caught some attention in the online press and now Microsoft have posted a statement in their newsgroups: http://bink.nu/Article5008.bink

Upgraded to IPB 2.1.1 Final - Report bugs here
prathapml replied to xper's topic in Site & Forum Issues
The cause of "infinite refresh" cannot be RSS, coz rss came after that bug was reported. Also, i have no idea how that refresh bug is occurring. The main forum index is loading perfectly fine for me, on IE6, firefox & Opera. -
Hmmm.... Linkie?(to the adress of the flashchat) And yes, its true that having a chatroom across web & IRC might bring in more people. We might look at expanding from web-only, to an IRC channel as well, in the future.

Thanks delta, & we received a report saying that the MST attached above, contained a key. Since that would violate forum rules, please re-post that file with the key removed from it. The key can still be specified at command-line, alongside the MST, for silent setup, aint it?

As said above, just extracting all files from the downloaded file, then integrating drivers into setup, is easier. http://unattended.msfn.org/intermediate/drivers/drivers.htm

For those of you who might want to install uTorrent unattended, here's where it stores its settings: C:\Documents and Settings\USERNAME\Application Data\uTorrent You just need to put it in the programfiles folder. Then place a shortcut to it in StartMenu. Also, set it up to check for association with *.torrent, upon first run.

Seen EasyPHP. Its got lots of security vulnerabilities, for one, & its not updated frequently either. Its design is kinda "putting off"... One wouldn't want it when XAMPP is around. Moreover, its too bulky, you might as well use the Lite version of xampp with no features missing. And when you move to the full pack, you get a huge array of features!

Google labs just released the latest beta project called Google Reader. Google Reader is a web-based feed reader that helps you keep up with it all by organizing and managing all the content you’re interested in. http://reader.google.com/

Ah.... Its fast & easy alright, but whoever uses it, please take just TWO MINUTES to read the part about securing your server. Its not secure by default (for the sake of ease-of-use), & has clear instructions about how to secure your server. Also, turn on safe running, in php.ini, if you dont want to get hacked. This is the part to change: XAMPP forum - english (the rest of it is in german) beta releases

In the article above (pic #2) - the top 2 screenshots are of the program. The bottom 2 screenshots are of the multi-boot menu, running within Virtual PC. btw, PC Quest is a magazine which has been around since 23 years. Almost everyone who works in the IT field in this country, recognises it. They claim to have around a lakh subscribers, and readership/circulation figures is well around the 1 million mark.
-
Not just the people, there's this very popular magazine also, which has given this program a very good rating. http://www.msfn.org/board/index.php?showtopic=57581

Here they are: This is only a quick photo of the pages. I might post a high-resolution scan later... You might like to save & store them somewhere, cuz the above link may not always be up.
