  1. Did you actually use my DriverPacks BASE in a correct way? i.e. did you put all DriverPacks you'd like to use in the 'DP' folder? It seems you haven't...
  2. No AMD Chipset drivers have been included and because the MassStorage drivers are included IN the chipset drivers of AMD... well... they're also not present. You may wonder why... The answer is simple: I simply could not extract the AMD chipset drivers in any way because I don't have an AMD chipset! Maybe you could send me the extracted files? That would be very helpful!
  3. Please post your HWID - detailed explanation follows later. (Check my sig for a small tool that gives you your HWIDs.)
  4. Have some patience! I did not even notice this topic Nothing special will happen. Though I don't know which one will be executed first. (I think your install.cmd entry, but not sure at all.) It might be recommended to change it to: [GuiRunOnce] command1 = %systemdrive%\install\install.cmd command9 = "%SystemDrive%\D\BTS_DPs_finish.cmd" That way, the order will be respected for sure! As for your second question: it seems you are using method 2. Keep things the way they are! P.S.: probably your DriverPacks are in F:\WindowsXP\OEM.
  5. Desktop... I don't have a laptop... YET! (I'm thinking of buying a PowerBook, I only wish I had the money for it.)
  6. NEVER heard of that one, but it exists indeed... This installer is used by what applications?
  7. eh..... :| That's the basis part of the whole story... and you're completely missing it... Please read this guide thoroughly and ask again after that. P.S.: make your choice: -7z files copied to HDD, then decompressed, then setdevicepath.exe -uncompressed files on CD/DVD, then setdevicepath.exe You could use both, but that's stronly unrecommended!
  8. @eben: well, if the wrong driver gets selected, there's not much I can do but adding more (specific) drivers. Could you provide a link to the WLAN driver for you laptop?
  9. Wow, very nice! P.S.: on your blog you've got more screenshots, of which one with a chat window. May I ask what program+skin that is? (I guess Trillian + a certain skin?) Thx.
  10. Google is your friend.... so is wikipedia... http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Athlon_64
  11. The problem must lie in your presetup.cmd, your winnt.sif file is just fine. The presetup.cmd file should be located in the I386 directory.
  12. Realtek's site says nor at the HD audio page, nor at the AC'97 page there is taken note of an 'ALC860', though Google shows plenty of hits. After some more research it seems there is support for these chips included in the HD audio driver package. So the answer is yes, there is already support for these!
  13. It has been solved already! Next time please only post problems with current versions... If we'd al be reporting all bugs again... things would become one big mess...
  14. You don't have to click the ad! ONLY if you're interested!
  15. hehe... then where did you download those GUIRunOnce settings? Please attach your presetup.cmd and winnt.sif file. You just have combined some scripts you found here and there, haven't you? This is just an entry that can easily be removed.
  16. Are you sure all three of them are in HP's ZD 8000 notebook? Two different X600's...
  17. Double posting is NOT allowed at MSFN, hakeem5454! Please keep this the first and last time! You've got a reply in your newly opened topic.
  18. Are you sure the filenames match?
  19. Please post your HWIDS. (Check my sig for a tool to do that.) It should work just fine, maybe a HWID is missing (which would amaze me, VIA Bus Master IDE's HWIDs haven't been added since years...). This driver is incompatible with older VIA-based motherboards. Therefor I will NOT use this driver. Thanks
  20. When did you have this problem too, then? Yes.
  21. @eben: could you please post your ATI Mobility Radeon HWID? So I can add a Acer Aspire 2012 WLMi specific HWID... @2forza: that driver does NOT support all Mobility Radeons.... while my modded driver does... ;-)
  22. Eh.... hard refresh? CTRL + R
  23. Yes. Use my DriverPack Graphics A, it includes patched nVidia drivers. What you also could do is use the drivers available for download at www.nvidia.com and add the .inf file you can find at www.laptopvideo2go.com. (This is basically the same what I did.)
