  1. Yes you can download them and use the exe files, don't tamper with them in any way.
  2. You can get them in the RVM Update pack (recommended) or extract them from the Autopatcher (not tested by me but some do that). Do a search you'll find them easily.
  3. Ok, going to add that dependency info into the description, thanks.
  4. Of course it applies to the default user. If you find otherwise in some case let me know.
  5. peimg (part of WAIK) does a good job on that so it's not a rush. However I will check if it can be done better (doubtful) and if possible to do at least the same but without the peimg.
  6. 2 is removed Help component most probably. 3 is too weird to be caused by a removal, it would work or not work. 4 did you test that on the full version, if you have then maybe it's WMP/Codecs removal?

Well...did you solved it, what was it?
  8. Can you please be more specific, is that some option in vLite or in Vista itself, and have you tried removing the Natural Language now when you know what's causing it?
  9. What things besides the snipping tool? Also I'm interested only in the ones you know for sure that works on the full Vista.
  10. Jeronimo, thanks but the point is that people which have the Upgrade version to post the file list if the folder isn't recognized.
  11. Ok will check, thanks.
  12. That's correct. As soon as these kind of requests begin to pile up I'll speed it up, so far it's not that needed, Vista has the majority of popular controller drivers.

Did you remove the Windows Image Acquisition? Try the Control Panel - Add New Hardware then lower advanced option and select it from the list, then have disk.
  14. Yeah I guess that WCF removal should become .NET3 or ditch it.
  15. It should work on x64, when it prompts you for the filter manager install you should provide it with the x64 sp2 full cd, not the one in which you removed the filter manager.
  16. Remote Desktop removal. I tried to remove the cause of that message but can't find it yet. It's nothing to be alarmed about but it is annoying.
  17. TabletPC was needed before but that is split. However it was reported at least twice that it still fails if Tablet removed...but it always works for me, must be version dependant somehow...language... Kalabaza, is your Vista English? Do you install MUI or something?

    AERO GLASS ERROR

Make sure that your display driver is the same when it worked. Also if you remove WinSAT make sure to select the tweak to force Glass. This still won't select it automatically, you will need to go to the desktop properties and apply Glass from there. edit: oh and major caution, don't remove DWM Service!
  19. Someone go into the Start-Run-CMD change the active folder to the one containing your Vista DVD then write this: dir /s /b>c:\list.txt Compress and attach that list file here, thx.
  20. Read the description of the Natural Language component.
  21. Just to let you know that I will test this eventually, thank you for the info, if you however solve it before I post let me know.
  22. myspacee, that's the problem, if I knew which are safe I would keep that option. Tried to keep them half by half but hotfixes always failed. That makes me wonder if maybe something else was tampered...you should try it on your own, but only virtually of course, there are plenty of needed runtimes, not just component cache.
  23. Well those options are Advanced so you don't tamper them too much, also I don't see what is unclear about this: "Remove Catalog files" "If you integrate more than 150 hotfixes you can use this to speedup install. This will be applied only if SFC is disabled in the Options - Patches. Caution: This will cause more prompting for driver installations, making them unsigned." If this CAT perversion wasn't requested so much I would never put such option, it's not big, not in the memory, not on my radar.
  24. I already answered this in some other topic but the summary would be: if you know which service is it I would gladly remove it, but only in case that then you can't play the protected movies, I'm not interested in cracks. Remove WMP and codecs and you can't play those movies, but the question is did that remove the hidden services as well...maybe we'll never know, especially if they embedded it in some invisible low-level driver/service.
  25. GaNGa, then remake that Windows CD and keep what you need. If you don't know how then ask your friend to do it again.
