  1. G'day Marin I follow ya instruction on how too install (Raid) drivers from a removable USB stick to a tea , very simple if ya ask me , but when the system reboots and boots off the USB and load WinPE then the blue screen comes up for about a minute or more . Then it simple reboots and goes through the whole processes again , into a loop. If I intergrate the raid drivers into the boot.wim and install.wim there is no problem . 2. G'day ! Yes that's correct , if I shut down the WSIM program then open it a again it can't load the autounattend.xml because of the vlite statement in the last paragraph , but removing the vlite statement , then it will load. It does save the XML and throws up the current error msg , the same thing happens when one is also modifing the autounattend.xml . I have too remove the vlite statement everytime I load the autounattend.xml.Yet if I don't use the vlite program at all , but use the WSIM on the OS then it's not a problem everything runs fine. [vLite 1.1 Beta] Cheers
  3. G'day All I try this solution only too have it reboot after the WnPE Blue screen no popup box nothing. What can be the issue . Happens in either DVD or USB mode. http://firegeier.unattended-sponsor.de/en/...ick_or_dvd.html
  4. G'day all This seems too be a vlite issue , it seem when using WSIM after a vlite creation of the OS that WSIM has trouble saving the Autounattend.xml , I found a solution too the problem by edit the XML and removing vlite from the last paragraph in the xml .It seem that ya renaming Windows Vista ULTIMATE image to Windows Vista (vLite) ULTIMATE seem to cause WSIM issue's . Is it possible in ya next release that ya can give the option of renaming the image than rather than force renaming the image. 5. G'day all Following FireGeier Instruction's http://www.msfn.org/board/index.php?showtopic=95462 What I did was Vlite the Vista Ultimate Dvd with no issue , but FireGeier instruction on Upgrading work's also , well almost , finishing the upgrade and doing the error checking , all is well , when opening the install.wim in Windows AIK it does the cataloged check after the updates have been slipstreamed .I then open Autoattend.xml too the install.wim .The error msg only comes up when you trying too save it as Autounattend.xml. Now this happens everytime I slipstream the updates into the install.wim file. How too solve this issue without recreating a new Autounattend which is the only solution ? The other issue slipstreaming Windows6.0-KB933242-x86.msu , Windows6.0-KB934907-x86.msu both file give an error msg 1359 but will install after Vista installation . any clue ? 12:02 AM : 12:02 AM : Error saving D:\VistaWork\DVD\Autounattend.xml. 12:02 AM : 12:02 AM : System.InvalidOperationException: Collection was modified; enumeration operation may not execute. at System.ThrowHelper.ThrowInvalidOperationException(ExceptionResource resource) at System.Collections.Generic.List`1.Enumerator.MoveNext() at Microsoft.ComponentStudio.ComponentPlatformInterface.AnswerFile.ReadSettingsFromUnattendNode(Node unattendRoot) at Microsoft.ComponentStudio.ComponentPlatformInterface.AnswerFile.DoLoad(Boolean useImagePathInAnswerFile) at Microsoft.ComponentStudio.ComponentPlatformInterface.AnswerFile..ctor(String path) at Microsoft.ComponentStudio.ComponentPlatformInterface.Cpi.OpenAnswerFile(String path) at Microsoft.ComponentStudio.MainForm.OnFileSaveUnattendAs() 12:03 AM : 12:03 AM : Error saving D:\VistaWork\DVD\Autounattend.xml. 12:03 AM : 12:03 AM : System.InvalidOperationException: Collection was modified; enumeration operation may not execute. at System.ThrowHelper.ThrowInvalidOperationException(ExceptionResource resource) at System.Collections.Generic.List`1.Enumerator.MoveNext() at Microsoft.ComponentStudio.ComponentPlatformInterface.AnswerFile.ReadSettingsFromUnattendNode(Node unattendRoot) at Microsoft.ComponentStudio.ComponentPlatformInterface.AnswerFile.DoLoad(Boolean useImagePathInAnswerFile) at Microsoft.ComponentStudio.ComponentPlatformInterface.AnswerFile..ctor(String path) at Microsoft.ComponentStudio.ComponentPlatformInterface.Cpi.OpenAnswerFile(String path) at Microsoft.ComponentStudio.MainForm.OnFileSaveUnattend() 12:40 AM : 12:40 AM : Error opening D:\VistaWork\DVD\Autounattend.xml. 12:40 AM : 12:40 AM : System.InvalidOperationException: Collection was modified; enumeration operation may not execute. at System.ThrowHelper.ThrowInvalidOperationException(ExceptionResource resource) at System.Collections.Generic.List`1.Enumerator.MoveNext() at Microsoft.ComponentStudio.ComponentPlatformInterface.AnswerFile.ReadSettingsFromUnattendNode(Node unattendRoot) at Microsoft.ComponentStudio.ComponentPlatformInterface.AnswerFile.DoLoad(Boolean useImagePathInAnswerFile) at Microsoft.ComponentStudio.ComponentPlatformInterface.AnswerFile..ctor(String path) at Microsoft.ComponentStudio.ComponentPlatformInterface.Cpi.OpenAnswerFile(String path) at Microsoft.ComponentStudio.MainForm.OnFileOpenUnattend(Command command)
  6. G'day all It's been a very long time since I put a quest on this board , I've been using the WPI for sometime now with great success , however that been said , there is one issue I like too see resolved , when reading the WPI.log after installation of programs I find that sometimes in the log cmd1 Success (returned code 0) is great , but the others like cmd1 Success (returned code 3010) cmd1 Success (returned code 1680) mean nothing too me other than it failed and have found this from time to time . Question are you or do you have knowledge of where can one can retreive info on the failed Sucuss it would help considerable in solving the issue of the errors.
