It's only needed to make partitions and for dynamic drives...something like RAID arrays i think. So if you don't use RAID remove it.

In next nlite you'll again have option to keep Wmp compatibility then you won't need to keep wmp9. But i'm not sure if Wmp10 is using some reg which gets cleaned out.

Try extracting netsh.ex_ to system32 but i think you'll miss much more files...let's hope it will report which one then you can extract them too.

I had those problems when disabling Nvidia driver services...or it's startup stuff. So if you use Nvidia driver try reinstalling it and see if that solved your problem.

What is the path of the temp folder...try it with some simple one like c:\winlite. Did it worked ?
