Let me simplify that...how about presets to remove components which are added extra in Ultimate to shape it like a Home edition and that's all, why remove all then put back (which is impossible without signed packages). And on top of all why would you limit yourself to Home Edition for example, remove what you don't need, no more no less.

Checked it and it protects that screen saver if Windows Image Acquisition (WIA) is kept...weird I must say...gonna remove it from that protection. Nice catch. There is "Remove Search For People from Search" tweak.

It was PE header checksum, they didn't have it corrected in those files but nlite can do that for you automatically. Fixed in next version.

So, to make it clear. In XP Home you have to make another new Administrator type account. Did you? And then set Autologon to it, don't select built-in administrator (the first user on the list) as it will have that exact message.

If you are to use unattended make sure to run it with winnt32 /unattend:winnt.sif Also if you use textmode drivers (like sata/raid) then wait next version it has fixed non-boot missing sys files.

To be fully unattended set Unattended mode to Fully Unattended (duh) and more importantly set Autologon to some of the users available.

Try to set Mode to Create ISO image, change the ISO Engine to mkisofs, once you make the ISO then you can change the Mode to Burn ISO and select that ISO you created.

korbendalis, get cdimage.exe from the net (microsoft tool, I can't distribute it), copy it to nlite's root where you installed it. Run nlite and select your modified XP folder, select only ISO page, go next, change ISO Engine to CDIMAGE, make ISO, when done select Mode: burn ISO and select that which you made, it should work now.
