wow it looks great i can't believe how u guys can be that creative with graphics. I always think of hardest things and never manage to complete a graphics I started(same goes with many things i do) :cry: .

well if u have access to that .pst file u can right click on the main folder in outlook go to properties and u should see the compact button holy crap man make more .pst files at least put them into archive. i export some of the mails that i have that take up too much space to folders. since they are .msg(i think its like that forgot it) i can just open them by double clicking... or delete the unneccesary mails. wow man how many mails would make 4 gigs thats f'ed up.

i'm not sure but u can set the correct inf's to install during setup from runonceex or moviemaker.inf or something... or using batch files to launch the install of inf's with setup param/runonce/etc etc....

someone was asking for a tweak to get rid of links in favorites I just came across it.here it is: delete the links folder then Windows Registry Editor Version 5.00 [HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\Microsoft\Internet Explorer\Toolbar] "LinksFolderName"="" if u open up internet explorer after deleting links folder but not applying the reg tweak u'll get links folder again. so delete it and then apply the tweak...

@rasken: I've done a similar thing with my laptop's geforce drivers

it just overclocks the core clock freq and memory clock freq if u're having problems its not going to change after adding/changing those... try a driver update, firmware update, update of anykind

i believe PerUserItem says that that configuration u made over there is different for each user. so i think set it to 0 if u want to have the same setting for all users but that's just my guess at it...

efs just reminded me of effective file search well its actually Comprehensive Search for Broken Shortcuts which is sometimes when your shortcuts are improper, your system wants to search the whole hdd to find an appropiate match for it. here's how to disable that [HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\Microsoft\Windows\CurrentVersion\Policies\Explorer] "NoResolveTrack"=dword:00000001 "NoResolveSearch"=dword:00000001 NoResolveTrack = Determines if the system is prevented from using NTFS tracking features to resolve a shortcut. NoResolveSearch = Prevents the system from conducting a comprehensive search of the target drive to resolve a shortcut.

does anyone know how to get rid of the stuff under right click [new] (I just want notepad to be there) with a registry? winxp manager has this function but I couldn't find the key. (i remembered to regmon after I deleted everything but notepad )

how do u write? u mean how do u save it to .bat or how do u figure the stuff inside it help should help if other 1. show extensions and just rename .txt to .bat 2. save as in notepad, rename it to .bat
