  1. I have seen this done, but am sorry to say that I don't know what software or options were used. Hopefully someone chimes in, or Google can help you :/
  2. Format > Bullets and Numbering > Customize (lower right corner) Use that to create a custom scheme.
  3. You are probably right about the multi-mon setup. Some multi-mon setups run software that perform desktop/window management. Check your tray...there is probably an app in there that is controlling this behavior.
  4. Save it, and open it up in the app you want.
  5. Probably a rogue macro. Hit "Alt-F8" and delete any macros you don't need.
  6. Tools > Options > Save
  7. If you don't change some settings in Frontpage to make it produce code that is compatible with older browsers you will get this problem on non-Frontpage servers. The host needs to provide the Frontpage extensions, or you need to change your Frontpage options to be more compatible.
  8. CSV has no concurrency or other DB features of that nature. It is just a text file. You should either limit the utility to one user at a time, or use a DB.
  9. I think you can protect those resources with NTFS permissions. If you use inheritance, those permissions should serve you well.
  10. Most Microsoft apps can "save as" (instead of "save") HTML. Unfortunately the results are not always consistent in my experience.
  11. Can't help you here except to say that if you use Frontpage, you need to ONLY use Frontpage. When it comes to web standards, Microsoft does not play well with others
  12. Probably a problem with a group/profile setting on the Exchange server. Ask the network admin to look into this.
  13. Is this different from your other topic? I think this question is referring to how the name is stored in Exchange. Contact your Exchange (mail server) administrator and ask them to change it.
  14. Setup a "Contact" in Outlook and then use that address. You can customize how it displays in the contact's properties.
  15. I think that this depends on the vendor. Dell can probably help you out with this if you call them up and explain the situation.
  16. Never used that before, but you may want to look at this project: http://www.msfn.org/board/index.php?showtopic=16709

  18. These won't let you compete with the bigger/tougher certs but will set you apart from people with no certs at all (depending on how the employer views certs). I heard that these aren't very tough. It is really a personal decision...lots of people have strong feelings about certs and whether or not they are worth any effort at all. Find out what your potential employers are looking for in the way of qualifications and then develop your cert/education/experience plan around that.
  19. This wouldn't happen to be on Server 2003, would it?
  20. "Event Viewer" is on the start menu under admin tools and it displays your error logs. Not sure about MCE, though. [ moved ]
  21. Based on Azion and nitroshift's experiences, you may as well uninstall it since it doesn't do anything for you.
  22. I don't think anyone wants you to talk less.
  23. The broadcast address for a Class C network is x.x.x.255 [ moved ]

    Sexy Blonde

To all: despite StevanHogg's history of posting objectionable content, this one is just a video of a gag where a lady drops something, goes around a corner, and then switches places with a similarly-dressed old man so that people's reactions to the switch can be caught on film.
