  1. Looks like someone voted without posting. Action != post.
  2. Yes, all of that needs to be the same because the device extending your range is actually on your network. Your card is unlikely to have a fixed channel. It probably uses whichever channel (1-11) is being used on the network that you connect to. You need to worry about the channel at the router/AP level.
  3. Unpinned due to inactivity and an overly-busy developer
  4. And here I thought most of the UT2k4 community was dead! I recall using MapMixer back when I played the game. Might have to take a look around and see how active the community is
  5. Have you navigated through the OSD menus to determine if the display has that option while using DVI input?
  6. Sounds like an unseated card/device to me. Disconnect all of your cards and cables then reconnect them securely. Don't forget to discharge static first
  7. Some video card driver software includes this feature. My Matrox, for example, allows me to do this without any other software. So check your display adapter software first.
  8. Just to clarify...past tense isn't really accurate here. Both applications are still in development. VirtualBox OSE is the open source version of Sun's product.
  9. Also ensure that you are using Memtest86+ as it is the maintained version.
  10. That has been broken for a while now, so a new front page is being developed.
  11. Try this test site: http://liblearn.osu.edu/tutor/jscript.html
  12. As Nerwin said, this belongs in Site & Forum issues. That link initiates some JavaScript. Does your browser support JavaScript? [ Moved ]
  13. Then, in another tab, putting up any post by this user and looking not at the contents of the post, but at the left-hand side, you will see why the OP has rather precisely and correctly phrased things in the present tense.Look not at the Group itself but at the top line (the custom profile info). See what it says? It seems to me that a joke in one culture has badly back-fired in another. Don't you think this is confusing? Just to clarify (since the text could be confusing), ricktendo is *not* banned.
  14. I've seen this get cleared up before by clearing cookies/cache on the computers in question.

Wow. I understand your frustration, but you should reconsider how demanding you should be of those who provide things for free. Just curious: have you donated any money to HFSLIP? I have donated a fair amount, but I still won't give TC any grief about having to pay attention to his real life concerns. Real life trumps online life any day. TP: Can you please have TC contact me? Or let me know how you managed to reach him? Thanks!

I'm trying to reach him, but the last time I heard from him was 29Aug.
  17. If you can't disable the feature, just make the password something insanely long and difficult. Then change it (staying insanely long and difficult) whenever you change your other passwords.
  18. This might be another option... http://lifehacker.com/399172/ejectusb-forc...our-thumb-drive
  19. Nice job consolidating the changes. Very handy to have. Thanks!

I'm still around, too But I'm away on business since late June. I check in from time to time but cannot be online much these days. The business stuff should be over in a few weeks but then I am moving to Maryland so there will be some more down time there. But I shall return. And I shall TRIUMPH. It will be a glorious day!
  21. Yes, I approved it.
