correct. You need the spring Update to get newer updates in the future. http://support.microsoft.com/kb/2919355/en-us
-
thanks I'll test it this weekend with my Win7 PC.

this is a known bug with 8.1 and when you install the large 8.1 update the USB stack is reverted back to 8.0 behavior and this fixes the sleep issue

btw, in den updated SDK, Microsoft uses this define WINBLUE_KBSPRING14 to avoid calling of APIs which are added with the Update. #if ((NTDDI_VERSION > NTDDI_WINBLUE) || (NTDDI_VERSION == NTDDI_WINBLUE && defined(WINBLUE_KBSPRING14)))

parse the BuildLab or BuildLabEx and if the Buildnumber is larger 17031 the system has the Update installed.

[OLD] Aero Glass for Win8.1+
MagicAndre1981 replied to bigmuscle's topic in Aero Glass For Windows 8+
Symbols are not online. Only the symbols for the Preparation Update KB2919442 are uploaded. I think they will release them next week. -
Because I doubt that the Startmenu from Microsoft can be customized like yours I'll stick with StartIsBack.

MagicAndre1981 replied to MagicAndre1981's topic in Windows 8
I have no idea why there is a delay. Buy a valid 8.1 license (don't use a KMS crack ) and reinstall Windows and go directly to 8.1 and see if this fixes it.- 370 replies
