  1. offline files can be removed
  2. you're using the wave0 version. could you make a screenshot of the error message?
  3. which Sp1 Installer did you try? The wave0 Installer (5 languages) or the Wave1 Installer (all languages)?
  4. yes, you can shrink a Vista Sp1 ISO
  5. as I said, there are NO LPs inside the Wave1 Installer only some MUI files with update the existing files!
  6. those files are part of the Distributed Transaction Coordinator (DTC). So leave this inside.
  7. no, if you first integrate the RTM LPs into a DVD the Wave1 Installer updates the LP files correctly. But if you try to integrate the RTM LPs into a DVD it works, but there are a lot of untranslated parts of Vista. if you need a Sp1 Installation with a new LP to the steps : 1. integrate the LP 2. integrate the Wave1 Sp1 Installer 3. Remove useless stuff.
  8. you have to integrated the swedish RTM LP first. Then you should integrate the Sp1 - Wave1
  9. sorry, no idea. I already have the SP1 LP DVDs.
  10. @RamGuy you can use vLite to remove components, but be careful, if you remove too much, the Add/Remove Role/Features function might fail.
  11. the download includes NO LPs for Vista only the Installer of the Sp1 which can update all 36 languagepacks of Vista RTM!
  12. nuhi means, that removing components in Server 2008 is available but not recommend. It can break the Add/remove Feature/Role function
  13. this is right under Vista x64. MS doesn't allow you to disable the driver signing check any longer only at every startup you can disable the check for the current session
  14. ok, nice to hear and Welcome on msfn.org
  15. remember you must have .NET 2.0 installed!
  16. until now, vLite doesn't support Addons. You can use WPI to install Programs
  17. I told him to contact you.
  18. google for a "cracked tcpip.sys driver". This is a small driver which patches the tcpip.sys inside the memory
  19. this has nothing to do with AntiVirus. The message means, that the Win32 API function vLite is trying to call is not available.
  20. Here the x86 link from my WindowsUpdate.log: http://www.download.windowsupdate.com/msdo...72e43babafd.msu
