Okay I am reorganizing the wpi folder layout. The new layout will include a graphics folder, a tools folder. The tools folder will include the fontinst, uap2, vidchanger. I want to add in a couple more things but am undecided on what to add. I am Welcome to suggestions. The first one I want to add is the Universal Silent Switch Finder. Also I am going to add in a quick and dirty txt guide reference file.

Here is the retooled options wizard I want to add in the new WPI release please give it a try and tell me what you think. I retooled this one just replace the optionswizardtemplate in you common folder and give it a look.

Tested on Windows XP, 98SE, ME and Windows 2003 all works fine. Have you given any thought to theme capability? Will try on Longhorn later tonight... Also how about making a way for it to be a true replacement for the windows Calc? Kelsenellenelvian@gmail.com

LOL So on an app that calls for a reboot just put the next entry to restart the media player.

The restarting problem has to be with whatever app or prog is being installed. There is no way to make WPI halt a restart called by an install or even called manually. However, WPI does continue on its merry way after rebooting.

I used the hivedef method and it still brought up that splash screen.

I use WinRAR to copy files over. Just make an SFX file pointing to the desired location and make sure you have overwrite files checked. Plus you get the added benefit of compression.

Must be a problem with the path being toooo long.

It's the chinese OS, Sorry guys but I have no idea how to fix it and since i don't speak or read chinese I don't see it getting fixed.

There have been some known problems with Chinese OS.

that is true. cause my pack only add the newest files to wmp 10 but not the registry entries. so for wmv acceleration i create this file: download link. it is an installer that could be installed with /SILENT switch. also it adds the file and the registry entry for wmv acceleration. please test it and report back. Can this be implemented in the svcpack style? Or can we just put the needed entries into hivedef.ini or wherever needed to be??

Soooo is there any date for version 4??? With at least the spelling of slipstreamer fixed. Maybe the ability to add hotfixes in also.

All you have to do is download the theme and extract it to the themes folder of WPI and select it in the options wizard.
