No windows 32 will only see and use 3-3.5 gigs... No real big deal thjough because I am assuming you have dual channel capabilities which makes up for the slight loss of ram in speed. Personally even though ALOT of people like 64bit I just don't thikn it's refined enough in the XP and Vista OS's to be usefull yet. (Plus drivers are alot harder to find)
I have a dell that has keys like that. The are actually "Arm" type things that slide into the little arches on the top and bottom of the sides. I would try ebay (or your equivelant) ant see if you can find a whole keyboard for cheap. I never have gotten mine fixed because I don't feel like byiung a whole new keyboard for a shfit key...
Just how clear? Can we get a source on that? They keep extending support for XP and as far as I know have yet to publish anything saying they will not release a sp4. It's a sure bet we can see at least a rollup package.
ACER is correct... These damned companies purposly make most of their products this way. Forcing you to use Vista or higher. You best bet? Windows7 Is really a improvement and shouldn't take too much longer to be released...
I hated to be the party pooper but what you are trying todo is illegal. The EULA is there for a reason and it HAS to be accepted for the .scr to work. Because XP Plus! is\was a paid for product you are supposed to install it only on one pc and have it running only on one pc per copy of Plus! Yes you can transfer it to the other pc BUT you have to remove it from the initial PC beforehand.
No, no, no.. On the 10th command add a new line that says {reboot} 30. WPI will reboot 30 seconds after it reads that command. so it would be the entries like so: 1 2 3 4 5 6 7 8 9 10 {reboot} 30 11 12 13 14 15..... Thats how it works.
Look in the commands button... It is simply {reboot} 30 30 being the lentgh of time in seconds before it reboots... (Any number can go there) Then WPI will pickup from where it left off.
nLite's EULA EXPLICITLY states: That is is not for buisness or corporate use... You agrred to the EULA during installation of nLite. A copy of it resides in the nLite folder.
Hmmmm have you actually tried the drivers HERE --> http://support.gateway.com/support/drivers...p;uid=229441547 ? I looked at the .inf and it doesn't actually say "Vista only" in it. I just might work. Of course if won't be digitally signed for XP but if you get sound, who cares?
Personally I goto the other section for XP in ryans forum and pick onepieces XP update pack... It has nearly everything in it including IE8 and WMP11. All ready to go. There is NOTHING disgusting about the signup requirment. If you had ANY idea of the amount of spammers and leechers the staff here deal with daily then you would understand! Yes captcha code is annoying but it is very needed.
