Yes SP3 is the newest and is on that cd, therefore you don't need to even select the service pack button at all.

This is very difficult to achieve. Some installers will allow you to specify the dir with switches. Most will not. The only method left would be to use auto-it scripts. Which applications are you needing this for?

No it is not. You must have an extra file in your folder, maybe hidden. Always start with an empty folder and keep the contents in it.

Checking Nod32 now. As for the windowblinds, yes it is based on the wise installer system but they modified it (Last I checked) to ask for a serial during install. Near as I can tell (The nod32 i have is already .msi based) All you do with it is call it with the /qn switch and then import your settings. The other one I know of can be opened with winrar and you can add the switches right in.

Nod32 v4 must be extracted first then you run eav.msi with the /qn switch As for the windowblinds I do not believe ANY awitch exists for it. You will need to look into a scripting program like autoit or auto hot key.

What all addons are you using? What is the CD source? OEM, Retail or something else?

I have seen that error before. If I remember right it is a random error (wmdrmsdk.dll) produced by the wmp11 slipstreamer. Usually I just rebuilt the disk, paying close attention to the order of hotfixes and then off I went.

Its actually VERY true and not a limitation of nLite but UA installs theirselves. When you automate the partitioning proccess XP will just grab whatever drive it wants (Usaully the first one, but can be others if an existing OS is present) and format it then BOOM all info is GONE! (Been there done that ) lol

I see. Lets think here then. We know from the past that manualy slipstreaming in Vista will not work. We also know that supposedly nLite has a fix added to it to overcome this (Changelog, like 2 versions ago) We also know that OEM cd's are VERY strange. When nLited they ussually do not work. Especially DELLS oem CD's. So I kindly ask: Will you try the Penn CD with JUST sp3 and only sp3 done by nLite in vmware? It will take less that 15-20 minutes to do the test far enough to get to the key stage.

Serial? I would think the Penn state key was invalidated by SP3. They really added a LOT of keys and algorithms to SP3. Does it pass WGA?

Yeah I just researched the model he says he got and see that the ram is most likely ddr 400 also. Its a real boner when you get into the specifics.

SP3 only HAS to HAVE SP1 or 2 if you are installing ON A LIVE SYSTEM! I have made nearly all 6 versions of XP with SP3 and NONE of them have been with even SP1...
