  1. yep, but I didn't find a good and easy torrent downloader. Actually I don't know how the torrent system works, but I wanted to do something like transfer/download a torrent to a normal website to download using browser or download accelerator. I have some free webs with php/mySQL... suport, so I want to know if I can install any script that would do this for me. But Thanks for helping!
  2. Is there any way to download torrent files to the website?
  3. how can I use Accelerators in a executable (.exe)?? May I add them or how can I edit them?
  4. there are no spaces in the end of the lines, but tomorrow I'll try putting quotes and see what happens. I created unattended installations for Windows 98 too, but I hadn't problems, and I'm not sure if I can make a FULL unattended installation for Win95. Anybody got a Full Unattended Win95 Setup? 'cause we can compare the MSBATCH's... Thanks guys
  5. I tried changing the InstallType to 3, but didn't work either.
  6. I use WinPE from XP SP2 OPK, but BartPE + XPE Plugins is better, 'cause you can customize everything, but I'm thinking about creating an hybrid WinPE + BartPE/XPE or something like this! I don't know my WinPE version, but I think it's version 2004 or 1.2, but I'm not sure. I don't know how to get WinPE 1.6, only 2.0, but actually I don't have a fas internet connection, so I can't download 0,9GB (WinPE 2.0 + something).
  7. it depends on how are you installing. if you're booting from CD, so you'll have to know what OS to choose so the script will start the right setup. if you're installing from another windows, you've only to pay attention in what you're choosing, or you can go to the right folder and start the winnt32.exe from there, and you can do that from DOS, but I think you'll waste time
  8. I think WinPE would try to create a pagefile in any disc, but he firts he finds is C:, so if you have a ram drive you can put your pagefile there, but I don't think you could do that if you have low RAM
  9. yep, this happens 'cause WinPE is just Windows XP, but "portable". So when you protect a folder from view, it's common that other users can't view this folder, so does WinPE. WinPE is based on Windows XP and now Windows Vista operating systems, so it would work just like those operating systems, and it's true 'cause you can customize your WinPE/BartPE to work just like your Windows XP, importing apps and tweaks, everything works.
  10. I'm having problems to install Win95 unattended. I a batch file (msbatch.inf) to automate the setup process, but I can't get it full unattended. When the system reboots, it asks for network identification and computer name: and I'm using this msbatch.inf: [Setup] EBD=0 Express=1 InstallType=1 PenWinWarning=0 ProductID=XXX-XXXXXXX NoPrompt2Boot=1 Uninstall=0 VRC=1 CCP=0 [System] DisplChar=16,800,600 [NameAndOrg] Name=Black Display=0 [Network] ComputerName=BLCK Workgroup=Group Am I doing anything wrong ???? Thanks guys!
  11. yep, I downloaded and will try, but I think that there's a way to enable automatic creation of the pagefile *IF NECESSARY* just like WinPE. For example, I wouldn't like to create a pagefile if I have a 1GB or 512MB RAM, but I'd like to automatic create a pagefile if I have only 64MB RAM. Have you tested WinPE? I think that factory.exe does the pagefile job, but I don't know how to transfer it to BartPE.
  12. we know that WinPE enables pagefile if running with low RAM (ex 64MB), but I can't do this with WinXPE (BartPE + XPE Plugin). Any ideas??? Maybe we could transfer some files from WinPE to WinXPE, but what files? 'cause I think that factory.exe enables the pagefile, but I'm not sure, and if is this, how can I manage the "Tasks" factory.exe does? I'd like, for example, to disable network configuration.
  13. what startup scripts do you mean? I know you'll find the startup program in the registry (launch "regedit" in the Run box located at "start" menu). There, go to ------------------------------------------------------------------- for Windows 95/98/ME HKEY_CURRENT_USER/SOFTWARE/Microsoft/Windows/CurrentVersion/Run HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE/SOFTWARE/Microsoft/Windows/CurrentVersion/RunServices HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE/SOFTWARE/Microsoft/Windows/CurrentVersion/Run ---------------------------------------------------------------------- for Windows 2K/XP/2K3 HKEY_CURRENT_USER/SOFTWARE/Microsoft/WindowsNT/CurrentVersion/Run HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE/SOFTWARE/Microsoft/WindowsNT/CurrentVersion/RunServices HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE/SOFTWARE/Microsoft/WindowsNT/CurrentVersion/Run ...but there're other stuffs in WinXP/2003 and probably in Vista, that starts at boot time with full blue screen (I believe this maybe what you're lookin' for). Generally you'll find Scandisk and PartitionMagic running in this kind of boot-mode, but I don't know where you could edit it, but if you start System Mechanic 6 (www.iolo.com) you can see what programs are running int the startup, all them.
  14. ok let me understand: you Reduced the Size of Source i386, right? Isn't there a possibility that the file that is missing was deleted when you Reduced the Size of Source i386??? 'cause it seems to be okay with your DVD, but you say that the problem persists.... check doing this with a full XP source (try using a Virtual Machine, only to test).
  15. you want only one folder to save space or just for better looking? put the same DRIVERS folder in every windows folder and optimize your ISO so you'll store the folder only one time, saving space and time.
  16. try building the CD menu with CDShell or BCDW and optimize your ISO when creating, so I believe you'll have your CD.
  17. I created my .ima image using WinImage and it works perfectly. I used a 2.88MB image to boot from BCDW2 and it works! I use 98SE boot disk and add the partition magic files and set autoexec.bat to start the pmagic.exe, simply and easy;
  18. @Vumad: I didn't understand. What settings are you talkin' about???
  19. if you built the ISO using nLite, you don't need to build another ISO using Easy CD (or Nero,....). You only need to burn this ISO image, selecting Open in the main menu. You can burn the image with Easy CD, Nero, ....
  20. are you sure??? try to install XP from Win98 or maybe even from XP (not via boot sector) and you'll get some errors, 'cause it will use the information stored in the TXTSETUP.SIF that is in the DVD\Root\XPP1\I386, and in this file the SetupSourcePath is set to use files from the folder DVD\I386, *NOT* from DVD\Root\XPP1\I386, so you must change the data from "\" to "\Root\XPP1\".
  21. not yet, 'cause the default text editor is the EDIT.COM, but you can search for an alternative text editor, 'cause I've seen in many DOS progs the font bigger than the normal, so I believe you can do this with a text editor, but not with EDIT.COM. I'll search and will let you know if I find somethin', 'cause it's a little difficult to find a dos prog when everybody's paying attention to Windows Vista and so on, but don't worry, I'll try to find this stuff! bye
  22. @Vumad create a batch (.bat) file with this: @echo off program-to-run.exe pause EXIT with this you can install the program and reboot the PC, so when your computer start it will continue the RunOnceExec bypassing this item, ok??? it works for me, but I think you can install it without having to reboot the computer, and when everything's done, you put a final item to reboot tghe PC and then ALL DONE!
  23. you have to edit the TXTSETUP.SIF in both installation folder and in the boot folder
