dont u think that those blue progress bars look a lot like XPs.. otherwise, it's great and btw, wasnt the bootscreen 256-colors? that image looks a lot better than that.. god knows what might happen to it if converted to 256..

yeah, the gains will be a lot higher.. vista has too much crap inside compared to XP or any other previous version..

what exactly do u call blurring?

it doesnt make sense to be autorun.dll..

Jeronimo, i had the same focus problem.. i thought that it crashed because the other window remained hidden and the main one was inactive.. btw, the ISO rebuilding took more than 30 minutes here, on a medium-end box..

a highly stripped-down version will be highly unusable though.. in a matter of functionality..

nope, not using an AIO version.. just mounted the ISO again with daemon tools and selected the drive, it seemed to work.. it's copying the installation files now.. may files may have gotten corrupted while extracting the ISO.. EDIT: works great.. now i can get rid of the nasty and crashy media center.. 600mb lol EDIT2: i'd like to see better description on what's gonna happen.. after i chose what to remove it provided me with 2 choices and i couldnt understand what exactly is gonna happen.. i chose the second one.. it's supposed to remove the components and make a new iso.. it has almost removed all of them but the folder is still the same size.. what exactly is going on?

the strange thing is that i could install RC2 on a VM with 400mb RAM, and a friend of mine installed it on his PC with 384..

still getting the filter error.. it doesnt even offer to try to install it in this version.. all i can do is click ok, and report.. so here am i reporting..

i've never seen anyone get a higher score than 5.9 for any of the components.. that's the maximum?!

a friend of mine was able to install it on 384 (RC2..) anyways, why would u want to install it on 384mb ram? it's highly unusable.. 512mb is still not enough to enjoy it properly.. i mean, running lots of apps, heavy apps, or games on it..

i didnt know that one existed at all.. so what happens to the rest of the space when i shrink a volume?

i'm running on vista now so i'm not sure if my results would be so accurate.. no clock - 324-181 - 44 fps AVG clocked at 420-216 - 50 fps AVG it has 256mb of memory, so i guess my memory is slower than the "usual" radeon 9600

unless you "crack" it.. .. i've heard about this happening when people replace some files so they get the activation from the RC-branch builds..

what's the catch? u have to be a legit tester, MSDN subscriber or anything like that? EDIT: just saw thomas's post.. any more catches?

i heard that vista hates FAT32 and doesnt want to install itself on such type of partition..

yup. i have it set to 80 which is fine for my XP.. i dont wanna set it to less than 10, just because of vista though..

that's it.. we need a patch.. i just started a torrent and it didnt connect to any peers.. the half-open connections were 36, but only 10 are allowed.. so it was slow as hel..

btw, what are the default for your video card? core/memory?
