MS Antispyware says that if you have MSN Plus (it's not a trojan..but it alters msn, so it thinks it is) i almost got that virus...but i didn't click on the link...because it showed my email..so i knew it would have been me anyway..

i didn't notice the posting thing, as i always use fast reply.

you'll end up having to re-install those anyway. programs have registry files etc etc. sometimes you encounter problems if you run a program that was there, but was not installed.

I know my computer sucks, but I seriously wonder what people think my computer could sell for if I sold it today. I saw someone ask this question...so I became curious Specs as follows: AMD Athlon Processor (800mhz)...very very old.. Creative SB Live! Sound card ATI Radeon 7200 ABIT KR7A-133 motherboard with AGP x4 slot and 7 PCI slots 2 256 DDR memory..don't know what speed it runs at. Creative PC-DVD drive 12x HP CD Writer 9100 series power supply i think is somewhere around 350 my guess = negative $20...

for all of you who have the beta(s)...haven't kept up with beta releases. is it able to sort things numerically? for example: file1 file2 file3 .. .. file9 file10 file11 instead of what is currently done: file1 file10 file11 file2 .. i find it annoying how it currently sorts files that have numbers at the end. so if vista does this..i'll be happy..if it doesn't yet...does anyone know if it will?

actually, change the wording around a bit, and it will make even more sense: "some uses for Wolf_Demon's computer" and "omfg it's a gay computer"

hmm, doesn't seem to take too long to start up for me. i love the control panel, it's so much better than the xp one. i was forced to use the classic view for xp

what is a volume liscence key? i think my school used like a single windows xp cd....because they did it with the typing program for keyboarding class. (they installed it onto a server...so every time you do something, it will say that it cannot read from drive D (the cd drive))

i concur with ripken. they have the incentive to spend billions of dollars to conquer iraq and afghanistan but will not do jack about a disaster that happens within our own country.

if you don't want the AOL crap, or the 50 free mp3s, simply Uncheck the option to install those components when you are installing...

all very good points. alot of piracy sites have policies that say you must delete the material within 24 hours. if you liked it, then you have to go out and buy it. it doesn't stop some people from keeping it though. but i find it true for every CD i've ever heard, is that the only song i liked was the one that was played on the radio. if you want just that one song..they aren't gonna make money off of you buying the cd (since it was on the radio) and they definately aren't gonna make money if you buy it off of Itunes or Napster...that's where piracy comes in for some people. i myself loved the Cowby Bebop show, along with the music, and everything related. i downloaded the soundtrack and it was very cool. i plan to go out and buy it this weekend.

priating doesn't hurt anything. (well for music inustry anyway) Most people who pirate the albums wouldn't buy them anyway. ALSO, these people make all their money from concerts, not cd sales. in fact, half the songs on the cds they don't make any money off of unless they are played on the radio. the RIAA are just money hungry that's all.

ripken, that's not a very good test unless you told counterspy not to delete or quarantine the spyware after that search.

does it matter? i never use them, and it would feel awkward without them even if they were gone.
