well i haven't had much use out of the computer yet, but it seems to be running fine. the temperature of my computer right now is at 34 celcius (94 Fahrenheit)

I'd still like to know what's wrong with the case

can i get benchmarks on opteron processors? i have barely looked at any opteron ones. i don't see much difference. are you sure the ram would work? PC 4000? the motehrboard says PC 3200 ram. what's bad about the the case? as for the harddisks...i just got 2 160gb hard drives last year. i think they are good for at least another year...then i can get some SATA ones.

i'm not too sure with overclocking. i've been looking for benchmarks comparing different amd processors and overclocked ones but have been failing... *edit* what you told me to do brings the price up to $1900. right now is way over my limit. my dad says $1000. so i'm going to be paying the $600 extra.

there actually isn't much noticable difference unless you have an HDTV...which sucks for me...the xbox looks crappy enough on my tv. my tv is so bad, it can't have a straight line....

my dad's dell failed a few weeks ago. but that was a problem on his fault for not having regular maintinence. fortunately all he had to do was reformat it....what i've been telling him to do for 5 months before this happened.

even so, i certainly wouldn't want to spend that much money just to have an LCD monitor that's better than a CRT one. I spent $100 on my last monitor...well my dad did anyway...my old one just up and died while playing a game.

this doesn't really comply with the computer company tech support...but i had a wireless G adapter for my xbox that just wouldn't work. so i called the linksys tech support...and nobody had any idea what was going on...so the guy just hung up on me..

what is the ISP you use and how much do you pay for it monthly? mine is Bresnan, i get 3mbps, and i (actually my dad) pays $45 a month.

personally, i wanted to kill something after seeing the 2nd one.

i would have went to a local office supply store and bought a decent keyboard for probably $10 instead of paying $20 plush $15 shipping, but that's just me.

verizon should be there...hmm...i wish verizon was here...they just have verizon cell phone service here. i SO want FiOS...it costs as much as my current internet...and my current internet is horrible. Bresnan online sucks...i don't get the speeds i should get, and it's just overal a lame service. we don't even have vonage out here.

i tried every single thing to start in, and it all doesn't work

well, my dad's computer i think finally kicked the can. when i start up...the windows bootscreen comes on...and then the comptuer restarts. then it goes to a screen saying stuff like "windows could not starts sorry for the inconvenience blah blah blah" and it gives me a list of ways to start windws like; start windows, last settings, and safe mode. if i pick any of those, it goes to the bootscreen and restarts, and it is just in thei infinite cycle. i am wondering what would even cause this...
