I believe you cant log in more than once. If you login on A, then try to login on B the board will shut down the first login on A then log you in on B. I think thats how it works, (someone can correct me if Im wrong.) Thats the way it works on some other boards Im on.

Also give 'Where is it' a try, does what you need. Also available as a shareware version so you can try it out first.

Daughters Boyfriend: for mixing tracks together the "pro" software to use would be probably be something like abelton live, that'll work really well .... the easier way but maybe not as pro results would be something like a MP3 or wave mixer like TRAKTOR by company Native Instruments ... traktor would be easier to use but abelton would give best results Daughters Boyfriend: as for vocal removal, he said you can do it, but it's extremely tricky and you probably won't be able to remove them entirely, he just said that the best sound engineer in the world wouldn't be able to remove vocals completely (he didnt say what software though) (Disclaimer: Daughters Boyfriend is a professional DJ (in Australia), and makes and mixes his own music, so I cant verify what he said)

How did you go indianarchie?? You get things sorted? What did you end up doing to get things fixed?

If your temps are in Celsius you may have a problem! Especially if thats idle temp. (I gat up to about 55 - 57 under 3d load with games Like FEAR, Oblivion, Quake4 Far Cry etc). My GT idles at ~40ish, and I think thats a bit warm. X850xt was only ~32ish (before it was taken out with a couple of other expensive bits). You may need to look at some extra cooling. You may also need to dl DX9 latest build from MS. I think they add stuff and debug as they go and later builds are a bit more "stable" and easier on the system. That said, Im still running DX9 from Sept. last year. Other than that Im afraid I cant suggest anything else.

OK. First up I have heard there are a few problems with the Nvidia 91.31 version, so you might try uninstalling these, and reverting to an earlier set. (84.xx series are pretty good, Im still using 84.21's with 6600gt) Also check your GPU temps, this could also be causing problems. (not saying it is just doesnt hurt to check) Also as far as I know you cannot remove DX9, (any version), although I have seen a couple of programs that claim they can. (google for them if you want).

Just a quick look throuigh the quicktime site and most errors are either 4 or 5 numbers, or a statement similar to :- bad data handle. (not a true message) Couldnt find anything on google either.

Are you running behind a firewall?? If so you may have to allow the second PC to have access thruogh the firewall. (thats all I can think of, and I may be way off base there.)

Right click on Icon>Properties>set as needed. To remove Icon use MS TweakUI, it allows removal of certain desktop Icons. Hope this helps.

There is a little program called unlocker. (I think its up to version 1.7 atm) This should allow you to "unlock" the file from the service that is holding it open, and allow you to delete it. Just do a search on MSFN forums and I think there is a link on here somewhere. Just found the thread, so I'll try to post it HERE Hope I got it right.

Are you sure it supports the media you are using?? You are using - media but it is not being recognised?? Maybe it only supports + media, and possibly DVD-RAM?? All I can think of at the moment, sorry.
