MISC | ATI Catalyst 6.3 with the classic Control Panel
muiz replied to maxximum's topic in The General Stuff
DUHHHHH I use MCE 2005 so 1.0 , 1.1 must be installed. I also install 2.0 with Runonce. So that has NOTHING to do with it !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! -
i removed yours and include latest beta , sorry bashrat But it takes me to long to solve the errors each time , while this can be solved with another driver even if its a beta.
-
Try this (thx bashrat) Windows Registry Editor Version 5.00 [HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SYSTEM\CurrentControlSet\Control\CrashControl] "AutoReboot"=dword:00000000 Run it from cmdlines.txt Now it doesnt skip the BSOD, so you can read the error. Also try to remove graphics pack A and install again. It will install the driver as normal cause more then one nvidia graphics drivers are present. It will install an older version 71.XX ( still dont know why this is ) but no more BSOD I will investigate the pack myself this week , to see if i can remove the nvidia drivers that are not nessesary. One is enough !!
-
Sorry but i prefer my own LAN pack for now To many errors and BSOD for now Takes me to long to uninstall this in safe mode and reinstall the correct driver. The pack does not work on nforce 3 boards !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
-
Some more info would be helpfull
-
viasraid is no longer , its viamraid only now update your packs and its solved
-

I use Drivermagican for jobs like that. http://www.drivermagician.com Driver Magician offers a professional solution for device drivers backup, restoration and update in Windows operating system. It identifies all the hardware in the system, extracts their associated drivers from the hard disk and backs them up to a location of your choice. Then when you format and reinstall/upgrade your operating system, you can restore all the "saved" drivers just as if you had the original driver diskettes in your hands. After one system reboot, your PC will be loaded and running with the required hardware drivers. What's more, Driver Magician has a built in database of the latest drivers with the ability to go to the Internet to receive the driver updates. It saves lots of time to find the correct drivers and mature drivers will obviously increase the performance of hardware. If there are unknown devices in your PC, Driver Magician helps you to detect them easily and quickly with its built in hardware identifier database. Awards Key features Back up device drivers of your computer in four modes. Restore device drivers from backup in one mouse click. Update device drivers of your PC to improve system performance and stability. Live Update device identifier database and driver update database. Detect unknown devices. Back up more items such as My Documents and Registry. Restore more items from backup. Get detailed information of the hardware drivers. Clone all drivers to an auto-setup package (.EXE), so you can restore drivers without installing Driver Magician.
