all u have to do is say u don't like the idea, plz don't belittle some idea cause someone else would like to see it added. i have made many suggestions & ideas around this forumn, most have been used but others have not been. and i have yet to have someone call my ideas stupid. besides if u make the service pac and don't like it, then don't added it. not only that i thought the idea of the topic was "ideas for future service pacs", maybe i am wrong but that is what the topic title says. also the ntfs support is a great idea, i have yet to see anyone call that stupid.

can't all this be done using the win98batch program? or at least the creation or deletion of them. unless u are wanting to do it for a computer that has window already installed.

i use the following: ccleaner regclean regcleaner used & currently using on win98se, win2ksp4, winxpsp2........

i use Roxio Easy CD/Media Creator & haven't had a problem w/ it. i have also tried the cdburnerxp w/ no problems as well.

i have actually done some research on this in the past. it is possible do but was very limited for what i wanted to do. right off hand i cannot think where i saw the guide that will take u step by step through it, it was a year ago when i was looking into the same thing. might have to do some searching on it.

if u have the ability to boot from usb device, could use a usb floppy drive.

i would vote to keep the new icons. but check this out: SWITCH WINDOW (ver 1.0.1) maybe can find something like it to add, it sure is nice in winXP. just thought on something to add.

i actually use cpad, but i was just wondering why notepad was better in the service pac. not seeing the correlation that it is better.

what was done to it to make it better? a new version from winME or winXP or something? maybe some regtweaks for it? just wondering cause all it says is a better notepad. but i do see the version is different than what came w/ win98se.

i have winmx 3.53, download from the winmx site, i have been able to use both the /QN & /QB w/out any problems @ all. no special repackaged installlers @ all.
