did u remove the upgrade folders out of the I386 folder on the cd?

i have never gotten the .netframework to work from the cd, kept asking for a cd, i would let it install from the harddrive.

that i would agree w/, i only started copying & pasting about half threw,

yeah it me like 40mins just to do like 20 of them & i only added 20.

what progam did u use sfx archives? i have used winrar & a sfx builder.

they should but don't forget to register them, otherwise other programs wont recgonize them, i just add it to my tweaks so it registers automatically.

i had the same problem, even w/ the correction to the winnt.sif, it seems to happen only on the home versions from what i see. i started using autologon to fix it for me.

add this to the winnt.sif to remove the windows messenger [components] msgr=off

i got the msi out of my temp file for my user acct, i started the program and then went in and retreive the msi, i have noticed it renames it self something different each time but i was able to install using the /QN.

that is a little extreme for me but it should work fine, but would sfc make any changes, i wouldn't think cause i don't have a problem w/ it. i was also thinking batch file to maybe be run at startup each time.

i have attached my reboot.cmd, it is a work in progress (cause i am always changing things) but it will give u an idea.

that is the idea, it should work that way, i did it by mistake once and had to input the user info in the 1st boot screens (or whatever it is called), but i have also heard of it not working like that too, u should be fine as long as u don't use an autolog. oh yeah i only put in the product key & the computer name when i did that.

u are probably looking more for a regtweak then. will need to get a program to monitor the registry changes and apply those changes to regtweak. i have used regshot for that. i don't recall anybody who has already done something like that using regtweaks otherwise i would pt u in their direction. i myself just use the runonceex in my reboot.cmd.

ur missing the files off that should be in that root folder. but i cannot remember the names of them.

i had to take a screenshot so i could figure out how to get into the setup to change the boot sequence, the first screen loaded to fast.

if i remember right, cox is more of the central plain and west states. including a few others outside of that region, like louisiana.

just by chance would the isobuster be able to do that as well, probably not.
